Chapter 9

Matts POV

Lately I've been really missing my family, now that I live in LA and my family lives in Virginia I don't get to see them often. I had the idea of going up there for a week to visit because my sister is going to be home for collage so I thought why not. Plus the fam hasn't met Bailey yet, I think they will love her just as much as I do. I really missed my friends from school to like Johnny. I just really need some family and friend time and seeing my hometown. I hope Bailey would come with me, I know how she is about meeting new people she gets very self conscious. I called her to ask if she was up for it.

*End of Phone call*

Before she could say something I hung up, I decided to schedule our flight the only time they had to Virginia was at 12. A few hours later I started to get hungry I was In the mood for some Taco Bell, I grabbed my keys and headed to Taco Bell. I walked in thinking what kind of a boyfriend would I be if I didn't bring my girlfriend her favorite food? Not a good one she would kill me, I laughed to myself. I ordered 2 tacos for myself and I got freezies for both of us and I got her a quesadilla and cheesy potatoes. I pulled in to her driveway knocking on the door. "Matt what ar-" she stopped in the middle of her sentence seeing the Taco Bell bag "MATTHEW LEE YOU BROUGHT ME TACO BELL" she screamed making me laugh "I did" I said walking in "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU" she yelled running all the way to the kitchen with the bag in her hand. "I thought you would kill me if you found out I went Taco Bell and didn't bring you anything" I said laughing "True" she said sipping her Freezie. We finished eating and started watching the movie "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" "I love this movie so much" she said snuggling into my side "It's a good movie but I love you more" I said staring at her. She turned looking at me smiling planting a kiss on my lips. "Not as much as I love you" she said "Whatever we all know I love you more no room for negotiation" I said kissing her cheek. She just smiled turning her attention back to the movie. "Have you started packing our flight it's at 12 tomorrow?" I asked "No" she said giggling "Me either" I said "wanna help me" she asked "sure". While we were packing "I was planning for you to meet some of my friends in Virginia" "Yeah sure" she said smiling "Hey I'm really glad you agreed on coming with me" I said grabbing her hand looking at her "Yeah I saw how much it meant to you wanting me to meet you parents" she said smiling "Your the best girlfriend ever" I said engulfing her into a hug "I love you" she said "I love you too" I said kissing her "I have to go pack, you can come stay with me so we can leave for the airport from my house if you want" I said "Yeah sure I don't have anything else to do" she said smiling "Okay, I'll grab your suit case and put it in the car" I said. We got everything in the car and headed to my house, we finally arrived. We didn't stay up long because we new we couldn't get much sleep on the plane. I got out of the shower putting on my clothes seeing Bailey asleep curled up in a little ball she looked so cute. I finished cleaning up and got in bed with her wrapping her up in my arms "Goodnight Bailey I love you" I said kissing her forehead drifting off to sleep ready for tomorrow.
