TIME-TURNED

What a day!

On the way back to the Gryffindor common room, there was dead silence, well, at least that's until Marlene spoke, "Oh my Merlin! I still can't believe it Lils! You and James Potter!"

"Oh shut it!" Lily looked away, blushing.

Me, being as confused as ever, asked, "Why?"

"Oh, sometimes I forgot you were from the future," she mumbled. "Basically, James has been asking Lily out since....forever!"

"That's not true!" Lily retorted.

"And?" I cocked an eyebrow.

"Well....she's been turning him down. Pretty sad, that bloke"

"Why?"

"Because he's-"

"Annoying"

"And-"

"Arrogant"

"He's-"

"Irritating"

"Although, he seems-"

"Not genuine"

"But-"

"Neve-"

"Shut it Lils, let me talk!"

Lily smiles sheepishly and Marlene tried to talk again.

"He seems actually hu-"

"Cocky, overconfident, too full of himse-"

"Lily!" Marlene whined, tired of Lily's constant rambling.

"Sorry"

"Anyways, I really think you should give him a chance," Marlene, finally continued.

"I really think so too, I mean your son kinda does the same thing to me," I admitted.

"See, you're meant to be too! In the future!" Marlene gestures towards me.

"I suppose so," Lily mumbled.

"Great," Marlene clapped her hands together, grinning.

"Now, let's see what the boys are up to!"

Once they open the door, their sight was kinda....unique?

They stood there, mouths agape. On one side of the room, there was James Potter II and James Potter, himself, with Sirius, revising on pranks to do and showing him, a paper....no a map! It was the one, Harry had showed me at his time a Hogwarts. 

Then, there was Albus Potter with Snape, it seems like they were brewing something? There was a cauldron right in front of them and ingredients around it. Albus was grinning and Snape was....smiling? No, it wasn't really a smile, just a small curve.

Lastly, there was Lily Potter with Remus and Pettigrew. Lily's nose was in a pig form and the adults were both clapping at her, smiling.

Just as they were about to say something, James Potter came to us, well....to Lily actually.

"See, Evans, I knew we were meant to be!" he winked at her.

Upon hearing their presence, the kids hugged me on my legs, tight.

"Mum, where's dad?" James Potter II asked.

I glance at the 2 girls and they just shrug.

"Um-"

"Come on kids! Let's go to bed!" Lily called.

I mentally sigh in relief.

"Where are they gonna sleep?"

"The girls with us and the boys with you guys," she points to the Marauders, as they call it.

The boys on my leg, tightens their grip.

"Mum, I don't wanna go! I wanna sleep with you!" James Potter II said, Albus nodding in agreement.

It took them a lot of convincing but they finally give in, since the boys gave them a magical toy car and Remus's chocolates, much to his despite.

They saluted and bring the kids with them to the boys dorm room.

The girls roll their eyes and I bring my daughter with me to the girls dorm room.

"What a day!" I muttered as I fell into the bed, looking over at my peaceful sleeping daughter, smiling to myself,
