Yoongi took a deep breath, finally receiving the right amount of courage to walk up to Hoseok.
"H-Hoseok..?"
Hoseok turned around, giving Yoongi a small smile. "Oh- hey Yoongi!" He interjected.
Yoongi smiled back, slipping a small flower out from his pocket. "I-I'm doing a kindness project for my health class..to cure some—..anxiety..so- here! I h-hope you like it.."
Hoseok chuckled, admiring the pretty magenta dahlia. "It's beautiful Hyung! Thank you so much.."
Yoongi blushed, nodding. "Yeah..you're welcome." He stated, looking up at Hoseok with a wide gummy smile.
Hoseok ruffled Yoongi's hair, taping the dahlia to the inside of his locker.
He didn't notice the note.
Yoongi waved, walking off and pretending to give out some more dahlias to other students. However, the kindness project didn't exist.
He just needed an excuse to hand the dahlia to Hoseok.
He was just hoping that Hoseok would eventually find the note.
Seokjin spotted Yoongi, smirking and approaching him. "I saw that Yoon~ is project Yoonseok successful so far?"
Yoongi shrugged, blushing. "I-I dunno..What if he doesn't wanna go?"
Seokjin rolled his eyes. "Yoongi, Hoseok was the one who decided to start giving you dahlias. He said it was his and his grandmas favorite flower- why would he not wanna go to a dahlia field and hangout with you?"
Yoongi sighed, pointing to himself. "Because he would be hanging out with me."
Seokjin pouted, poking Yoongi's cheek. "Don't say that."
Yoongi shrugged, looking down. "It's true.."
Seokjin shook his head. "No..it's not. You're so, so, so, soooo, special to Hoseok. He loves you."
Yoongi blushed, looking away.
Seokjin chuckled. "That's what I thought cutie, now come on! Mr. Gruszecki is probably about to count us absent from class-"

Yoongi got out of his car, closing the door behind him.He looked at the reflection of himself in the window, slightly frowning as he tried to fix his hair.
He then straightened his clothes, the long drive making his clothes all wrinkled.
He sighed, shrugging at the way he looked and walked out into the field of dahlias.
He set the basket of food on to a small picnic table in the middle of the field, smiling at the sight of all the beautiful dahlias.
He took out everything, setting it up on plates and placing napkins beside them.
He set out their drinks, and placed the basket to the side.
Hoseok wasn't there yet, which was normal because Yoongi said to show up at 6:00. He got there early to set up, so it was still about 5:45.
15 minutes left.
Yoongi admired the mesmerizing dahlias as he waited for Hoseok, slowly getting inpatient.
After awhile he checked the time, 6:03.
He shrugged, assuming Hoseok got caught in traffic on the way here- or simply just is running a bit late. The field was pretty far out.
It didn't matter anyways, it was only 3 minutes so far.
Eventually, Yoongi got even more inpatient. It was now 6:12.
He glanced over at the food, sighing. It was starting to get a little cold. The cold night air starting to come in.
Yoongi checked the time yet again, 6:21.
And again, 6:34.
And yet another time, 6:47.
And once more, 6:58.
Hoseok never showed up.
Yoongi's eyes saddened, picking up the- now cold and wasted- food from the table and packing it back in the basket.
He hadn't eaten his food, he thought Hoseok would have actually joined him.
But it turns out he was right.
Hoseok couldn't give a fuck about him anymore.
He carried the basket to his car, stuffing it and the props into the trunk.
He opened the car door, getting in the seat and starting the car. He pressed a button, making the radio play.
He drove home, trying to forget this whole disaster. He let his thoughts sink into the calming music of the radio, trying to relax.
It seemed to have worked, him getting home quicker than expected.
He gathered the things from the back and carried them inside, placing them on the counter.
"Oh- honey you're home! How'd it go with- uhm..you actually never told me who.." his mother asked, just getting done with the dishes.
Yoongi shrugged, avoiding eye contact. "They didn't show up.."
"Oh-...honey.." she mumbled, walking over to him and hugging gently. "I'm so sorry..let me fix you a separate dinner, alright?"
Yoongi sniffled, nodding and wiping his eyes before the tears fell. He slowly walked to his bedroom, sinking into his large bed.
He held his pillow tightly, his phone starting to ring.
Like a couple months ago, he ignored each call.
He figured his eomma had contacted Jin. She always did when something serious happened. Jin was always the person to make it better.
Yet this time, Yoongi didn't want anyone to make it better.
He just wanted Hoseok.
