Isabella is 3 in this story. As I said before, her age changes from chapter to chapter.

Levi's POV

I sit down on the couch, and pull out my book. I start to hear raindrops on our tin roof. They get harder and harder, until a large boom can be heard through out the house. Hanji is sleeping, and Isabella is cuddled up next to me on the couch. Thunder storms have always had their peace, it may be dark, and loud, and muddy, but there is a sense of pure beauty, that nature can do such a thing as make water fall from the heavens, and veins of electricity and light infect the large sky.

Hanji runs downstairs, with a journal in her hands. She has a rain coat on, and her boots as well.

"I have to take notes. I never really knew much about rain storms, but I want to know more!"

"Hanji, I don't think you should go out there. There's lightning. I don't want you getting burnt to a crisp."

"Dada, I wanna go! I wanna know more, an be smart wike you and mama!"

"Look, I don't want to end up in the hospital."

"We won't, Levi, plus. It's a great learning opportunity!"

I think for a moment. Is it really worth the danger???

"Stay on the front patio."

I watch as both girls say thank you and walk out of the house, to watch the rain.

"Fine, just come back in one piece."
