Levi and Hanji parent fluff

Kindergarten

Isabella is 5 in this story.

Levi's POV

It's Monday, the day that I send my baby girl off to school. That William boy is on her class; we seen him and his parents at the meet-the-teacher event. Bella has become good friends that that boy, and the two have just gotten closer ever since they snuck out to the tree house together. I snap back to reality as Isabella bursts into the room, excited for her first day.

"Dada, todays my first day! It's my first day! Are you taking me to school?"
I smile at her and nod my head yes. I check my watch. Only 20 minutes till we have to be there, it's a 5 minute walk. I would prefer she be early, so I pick up my excited little girl and grab the house keys. Hanji is already outside waiting for us. When we get out there, I set Bella down, and she jogs down the steps, me and Hanji fallowing her. Hanji speaks up.

"So, are you excited for school Bella?"
Isabella turns around, walking backwards.
"Yup! But I already know my ABCs and how to count to 14! Daddy taught me."
She turns and continues to walk infront of us.
We start to approach the Elementary school, and Isabella spots her kindergarten teacher. She turns to us, and pauses for a moment.
"Uhm...I dunno if I wanna go to school anymore..Ill miss you guys too much.."
I squat down to her level and kiss her fore head.
"It's ok to be nervous. You still need to go to class though, plus. You have already made plenty of friends, ok? I'll be right here to pick you up after school, ok? And so will your mama."
She looks at her shoes, and hugs me.
"Ok dada. I'll be brave, just for you!"
She lets go, gives Hanji a hug, and runs off to her teacher, who has all her friends waiting to go inside the school.

I don't know why but it's sad to see her growing up. But it makes me proud at the same time. Hanji holds my hand, giving me a weak smile, as a couple tears form on her cheeks. We head back home in silence, already missing our little girl.
