Hongjoong felt like shit

He was currently lying on the floor of their dormitory, arms and legs curled up in a little ball around his body as he held a pillow firmly to his abdomen.  The coldness of the hardwood floor beneath him slowly seeped into his feverish skin, cooling him down slightly.

Sweat dripped down his face as he clenched the cushion to his stomach hard, burying his face into the soft material as he held back a sob, eyes and body burning.

For the past week he had been plagued with an ever present ache all over his body.  Gnawing at every joint, muscle, and nerve.  Progressively getting worse as the days passed by.

It had started off with a dull throb.  Just a simple soreness that occurs when your muscles are in constant use, never getting a break to relax.  Although a couple painkillers could usually easily cure this problem.

Around three days later, Hongjoong had begun to notice that he felt worse.  He had started to experience slight nausea and dizziness alongside his soreness.  These symptoms were also steadily worsening by the day, leaving him tired and shaky one night in the bathroom as he both simultaneously puked his guts out and tried not to pass out into the toilet.  Although, Seonghwa's comforting presence and helping hands definitely helped ease the pain and distress, if only by a little bit.

But it didn't stop there

After about another three days Hongjoong was absolutely miserable.  The nausea and dizziness had become even worse to the point where he couldn't hardly even walk, let alone stand up.  It had definitely scared his members when he practically fell on top of Mingi during dance practice.  Bringing the taller male down to the floor with him as his legs gave out underneath him.

His soreness had also worsened, slowly rising in degrees of agony with each passing hour.  It was honestly cramps at this point instead of aches.  Sharp spasms of pain that would shoot through his body anytime he tried to move, completely halting all movement.

However he didn't let this stop him.

Even though he felt like dying everyday, Hongjoong continued to work.

With the fast approaching date of their next comeback, the young male knew he didn't have the time to be taking a break, even if it would end up benefiting his health.  He continued to overwork himself as he composed and edited every day, anxious that he wasn't going to be able to meet his given deadline.

Although that quickly changed when he had began to become feverish.  Their company immediately became worried at his condition, demanding he sees a doctor and figures out what is going on.

Eventually he caves to going to the hospital (Seonghwa wouldn't stop worrying) and after 3 long hours of sitting in the ER, Hongjoong was deemed sick with a bad case of the flu and put on bed rest until it passed, leading him back to his current situation.

Sighing at the coldness that touched the bare skin of his body, (having forgone wearing clothing a couple hours ago) Hongjoong attempted to focus on anything else but the suffocating pain radiating throughout his entire body.

A sudden soothing hand running along his naked back quickly helped the male forget his pain.  Smiling tiredly as he leaned into the warmth that was his boyfriend's palm.

"How are you feeling?"

Seonghwa asked quietly, voice low as he knew that the younger was also experiencing a mild migraine, having started to complain about it once he had come home early from dance practice (as requested by the younger), only to find his lover laying in the middle of the living room with every single blind closed.
