Luke-
Falling asleep on the couch next to your boyfriend, but waking up alone in your bed the next morning can really confuse a person. I didn't remember much of what happened last night. I remember putting a movie on to watch with Ashton and that was it. There was a text on my phone, Ashton. Sent at eight, now being noon.
Ashton:
Carried you to bed, had to leave. Loves you.
I rolled my eyes. I felt bad that he had to carry me upstairs and into bed. I weigh so much it must have been hard. It was Saturday. Just another day that will go to waste. I decide the best thing to do at the moment was to take a shower. My head was pounding by the end of the shower. I wrapped a towel around my waist and went into my room. I pulled on some boxers. I walked over to my desk and pulled out the bottle of pills. I poured some into my hand. There were at least fifteen, I could easily overdose right now. I could end all this pain, I could leave this hell. I shook my head and poured them back into the bottle besides two of them.
I hid them back in my drawer, I knew my brother wouldn't even realize they were missing. I grabbed my water bottle and took the pills. Hoping my headache would go away, I doubt it would. I put on a pair of black skinny jeans and a grey shirt. I put a beanie on, not wanting to deal with my hair. I went downstairs, expecting to find Stark or Jessie downstairs. To my surprise I had only found my brother sitting on the couch.
"Luke, I've been waiting for you to come downstairs." I was afraid, I knew he would start asking me about yesterday.
"Lets go out to eat." He gave me a look, I knew I wouldn't be able to get out of this.
I didn't want to eat, I would get fat. I remembered what Erica said yesterday and I need to get better. This would only be helping me. I nodded and went up to my room and grabbed my phone. Slipping on a pair of shoes, I went back downstairs. I realized my wrists were showing and had nothing to cover them. I went to go back upstairs to grab a jacket or bracelets or anything but my brother stopped me.
"Now."
He seemed pissed off enough already so I just nodded. He made me go out first, him coming out after closing the door. Following him into the car, the car ride was silent. We arrived at a small restaurant and went inside. I started to panic, what if I saw someone from school? What if someone saw my wrists? I kept my arms down at my sides trying to hide them but even like that you could make out a few.
Once sitting down at our table a girl my age came over.
"What would you two like to drink?" She didn't look familiar so I didn't worry that much.
My brother ordered a coke, "Water please." I said when she looked at me.
She smiled and walked away to get our drinks. My brother was looking at the menu and I hesitated. I didn't want him to be mad at me for not looking at it, but I didn't want anything. I settled on a burger. The girl came back and handed us our drinks. My brother said we were ready to order but she didn't say anything. I looked up at her and she was looking down somewhere. I realized she was staring at my wrists, I had my own arm on the table. I quickly put my arm back under the table. Out of her gaze, my brother coughed and she took his order.
She looked at me, giving me a sad look. "A burger and fries." I was annoyed, I didn't need her sympathy. I didn't want it. She smiled at us and walked away. I just wanted to punch something.
My brother coughed and I looked at him, "What are you sick?" I said without thinking. He just shook his head, ignoring my comment.
"I just want to ask you some things about yesterday." I rolled my eyes. "Okay."
