A/N: Circles by Mac Miller seems to fit the energy of the chapter...

Enjoy~

Lucius gagged, his upper lip curled, and he shook his head in hopes of ridding his tongue of the vile taste of skele-gro.

"Oh, come on, Mr. Malfoy, don't make such a fuss! It's just a spoonful..." Madam Pomfrey tightened the cap on the bottle as she handed him a glass of water to wash it down.

"Eugh!" Lucius flinched as he swallowed the wretched thing. He snatched the glass from her hand and downed it like he had been in a drought his whole life.

"How much longer will I going to tolerate this?" He whined.

"Another day..." Madam Pomfrey examined his plaster cast.

"Twice daily again?" Lucius asked.

Madam Pomfrey nodded as she dusted her hands. Pure terror brushed over him.

The mere thought of swallowing Skele-gro was enough to make him hurl. He would rather wait a whole six weeks to heal his bones than drink that ever again.

"Good Morning!" Ed peeped from behind the Hospital Wing door. He marched straight up to Lucius with Valerie and Narcissa behind him.

Lucius perked himself up; one good look at Narcissa, and he had completely forgotten the bitter taste of Skele-gro.

"Hi guys..." he greeted them casually.

"How are you this morning, Lucius?" Valerie asked,

"I'm better..." He said before directing his gaze at Narcissa, who stood awkwardly, wrapping her arms around her body. "Much better..." he shot her a half smile.

Ed and Valerie both noticed. They shared a playful look before brushing it off.

"We just wanted to check on you to see if you needed anything..." Ed wanted to spend time with his friend, but he knew Lucius was pursuing other endeavors at the moment. As his trusted wingman, he knew he had to oblige.

"Yeah, we are heading to Hogsmeade later today..." Valerie added.

"If you stop at the Three broomsticks, could you get me some bread pudding?" Lucius requested.

"Bread Pudding?" Ed asked, slightly confused at his friend's strange request. Lucius usually had a finer taste than to ask for a treat as simple as bread pudding, especially one from the Three Broomsticks.

"You know the one Madam Rosemerta makes with the chocolate chips?" Lucius reaffirmed his request.

"Sure.." Valerie replied, "We will do that!"

"Well, in that case, come on love, let's go..." Ed took Valerie's hand.

"But we just got here!" Valerie eyed Ed; she darted a look at Narcissa and then back at him.

"Yeah, but we gotta go if we want to catch the train now, don't we?" Ed flashed a cheeky smile.

"Yeah, but there are other trains..." Valerie insisted on staying.

Ed inhaled with frustration, "Of course, there are, darling, but this one just feels right!"

"Feels right?" Valerie furrowed her brows, wondering what suddenly got into him.

Feeling uncomfortable by Ed and Valerie's bickering and how Lucius looked at her, Narcissa sliced through the tension. "Guys, it's fine, we can go..."

"No!" Ed and Valerie chimed in. Narcissa shot them a puzzled look, and as soon as the word left both their lips, Valerie and Ed caught on to their agenda for Narcissa.
