My taxi arrived, parking just outside of Kings Cross Station. The Taxi driver didn't seem too pleased at the fact that I needed help lugging my abnormally heavy trunk out of the boot of the car - a long with my hyperactive ferret, Dragon. He eventually managed to drag the trunk out, dropping it with a loud thud on the floor and grumpily getting back into his Taxi before speeding off, his tyres screeching down the road.

"Yep, good morning to you too sir" I said sarcastically, as I watched his Taxi turn the corner out of sight.

I grabbed my trunk and dragged it towards the station looking for the nearest trolly, trying to avoid the stares I was getting. Probably due to Dragon screeching excitedly in his cage.

"Oh please shush, you're embarrassing!"

Maybe the weird looks weren't just because of the strange noises he was making, but more at the fact that I'm, well.. talking to a ferret. I yanked the trunk onto the trolly, balancing Dragons cage on top and rummaging around my handbag for my ticket.

"Platform nine and three quarters? Surely this has got to be a joke" I muttered to myself, squinting at the writing trying to make sure I wasn't reading it wrong.

I pushed my trolly, frantically looking around between platforms nine and ten when I noticed three red headed boys bickering with each other before running straight through the wall in front of them, one after the other.

"Of course.." I sighed, walking over to the wall and looking around, trying not to attract any attention.

I held my breath and closed my eyes, running at full pelt into the wall. I came out on the other side to see hundreds of students, all walking around - some looking completely unfazed and some, very much like myself, looking around in awe at the huge red train puffing clouds of smoke before us. I stood there in amazement, my eyes gleaming with excitement when suddenly a voice came from behind me.

"First time?" Said one of the red headed boys who I saw running through the wall just moments earlier, with the two others stood either side of him.

The boy talking was very tall, definitely over six foot, with long ginger hair and dark brown eyes. Freckles neatly plastered over his pale, but rosy cheeks - next to him, very obviously was his twin. Then, stood a little further back at the side of them seeming rather timid, was another red headed boy who was a little shorter than the other two and had lighter eyes, also with freckles splattered across his face.

"Is it that obvious?" I chuckled a little, still looking around trying to take in my surroundings.

"Just a bit" the same boy said.

"Just a lot!" the boy identical to the other said laughing.

They continued on their way, with a small nod as a parting exchange and I did the same.

Pushing the trolly to the side, I grabbed Dragon and left my trunk with a pile of others and started rushing through the crowd of students to try and get onto the train as quickly as possible in hopes of finding an empty compartment.

It took a few minutes but my prayers were answered when I saw an empty compartment at the back of the last carriage, so I walked in and set my bag down next to me and got out my favourite book - To Kill a Mocking Bird. However, I only had a few minutes of peace until there was a quiet knock at the compartment door. It was the shy red headed boy.

"Do you mind? All the other compartments are full.." he said, with his pink cheeks turning pinker, trying to avoid eye contact with me.

"Be my guest" I said as I closed my book, not wanting to seem rude.

"Ron Weasley, and you?" He quickly took a seat, clearly feeling rather awkward.

"Sayge" I said, shaking his hand with a smile. "Nice to meet you"
