New Years.

It's been a year, well almost will be. But with the new year that will mean new challenges, threats, and 1 one more year you get to get older.

But for now it was okay. Everything was fine and fun and everything in between.
Except for the fact you said something stupid to Natasha a few days ago and now she isn't talking to you. So great we don't even get to go into the New Year with her.

Smiling as you looked yourself in the mirror, you heard your door open then close. Walking out of the bathroom Wanda was now sitting in your bed and smiled up at you.

"Hey. What you doin here?" You asked

And now it started,
"Vision an idiot, do you know that?" She told you

You laughed and walked back to the bathroom to continue getting ready, "He can't be Wanda he's... literally a robot and one of the smartest ones out there."

Wanda got up and went to the bathroom door, "No he's not if he was he would've just told me dogs are better than cats but no he said cats or elegant and adorable."

You tried your hardest not to laugh but the noise that came out instead was a snort. Wanda's head turned right over to you.

"Oh don't tell me you like cats." She said.

You put your hands up, "No no its dogs dont worry. But don't you think this is stupid maybe a little childish. Also just go be nice with him, go in the New Year with Vision Wands." You said placing both hands on her shoulder and smiling.

You then walked out with Wanda right behind you, "What happened between you and Natasha anyways?" She asked.

You shrugged your shoulder putting your sneakers on, "I think I said something stupid. I probably did, I always tend to do. Then we got in a argument and now I don't even get to see her. And heres the beat part! I don't even know what I said."

You stood back up, "I gotta go but I'll be right back Steve needed my help with something."

"Okay" Wanda said sitting back down on your bed.

As you reached the door you almost step through leaving it open so Wanda could still hear you, "Oh and Wanda, Dogs and Cats are the same to me.  They both have 4 legs, 2 ears and 2 eyes the only differences is they make different noises and one sleeps longer than the other." And you walked out hearing her groan and disagree.

You really needed to talk with Natasha, partys weren't already your type of crowd which would make this one the perfect one to pull her away and talk.

Walking around you finally saw her talking with some man. Ew if there was one thing you didn't ever need to see it was a man touching her hips. As a waiter walked past you with champagne you quickly grabbed two glasses and walked over to them. Fixing a smile on your face, the man stopped talking as soon you reached them. Handing one glass to him and the other to her you greeted yourself as he did the same Mathias Salvator. Finally getting done talking to them, you pulled Natasha away with you. Heading into the closest room nearby and making sure nobody could hear you two.

You turned to face her, "Are we just letting people touch us now or am I missing some point of some weird game?"

She only scoffed at you.

"No I'm serious Nat, it's not like we officially broke up. So would that be considered cheating? Or may I go let another person feel me up now, I mean his hands were all over you!"

"Why did you even come and talk to me?" She asked you

"Because I want to know what I did wrong! Am I missing something? Just tell me what I said wrong not run away and let other people touch you! I mean Natasha it been 8 days and you still didn't say a damn thing to me."

She only stood there, and the best part is she didn't even know what you did wrong. It was all nothing, she just pushed you away because she was scared. Scared that this one year relationship could end any minute so she pushed you away in fear she would get hurt or you would get hurt.

You slowly walked over to her and hugged her, "We gotta talk about these things. Can't just go pushing everyone who loves you out of your life. We're important." You said into her hair.

Letting her go, "Are we good now?"

"Yes." She said

You stood up from your seats to go and grab a water, you didn't drink much. You just never found the fun in it that the other people had. You walked out to the deck just watching the stars. You also heard footsteps coming up behind, turning around you noticed Natasha and at the same time they started the countdown.

"5!"

You turned to faced her.

"4!"

"I'm sorry."

"3!"

"Me too."

"2!

You both smiled basking jn the company that each other gave

"1!"

You kissed her, a short but emotional kiss.

"Happy new years!"
