[Percy's POV:]
"Would you please put your head back in the car!" We had been driving along the highway for 4 hours, which was also how long I had been driving Reyna and Acanthis mad.
"But the wind IS CALLING MEEEEE!" I spoke with my usually gravely tone in a somehow high pitched childish manner. I figured it'd annoy her more and annoy her, it did.
"For the last time! GET. IN. THE. CAR" my instincts got the better of me at the sound of the commanding tone and before I knew It my head was in the car sitting like the good boy I was and the window was being wound up by Reyna. I cannot believe I just thought that.
"Evil human...." was all I decided to reply once I had realised what had happened.
"Sure dog breath, We are running low on fuel. I didn't get the chance to fully fill it before we left, so we'll be pulling over at a fuel station within the hour. Can you PLEASE try to shut up before then" the answer to this was as clear to me as being told to resist blue cookies served with blue cola which i really gotta try. No, no I cannot. Also how dare she call me dog breath.. I am a wolf and why do I suddenly think about death breath and how awesome a nickname it is?
[Artemis POV:]
We were getting nowhere, all leads we found were dead ends. It was like he had just up and left the very planet! Enough was enough.
"APOLLO GET YOUR SHINY ASS DOWN HERE BEFORE I SHOOT 'IT' OUT AND REPLACE YOU WITH A BULB!" nothing gets a male moving faster than having their disgusting tool threatened.
"I'm here little sis! Don't hurt him!" Why do males also like to call their manhood's in the third person? oh right they think with the things.. Nevermind.
"Firstly I'm older, secondly we need a quest issued to find Percy and so we need a prophecy. You are the God of them. Sort it out." Apollo was someone you had to just get to the point with else he will begin his tail of annoyance and start flirting with my hunters.
"Why didn't you just ask sis I know how much that demigod means to you!" he really didn't, if he knew just how much Percy meant to me it'd likely end up a repeat of Orion only with a decent male for real this time.
"Just send a demi- wait. It seems you gotta go and retrieve this prophecy." This was a rare occurrence, usually it was the gods giving prophecies not receiving, though I was not upset about it as I had hoped it would bring me closer to my Percy, yes my Percy, I will fight the Athena spawn for him if I must.
After having collected my thoughts I gave my YOUNGER twin Brother an appreciative yet court nod, he may be the male scum of male scum, but he is still my brother nonetheless. I made my way to find the oracle, who if I remember correctly, was a clear sighted mortal by the name of Rachel Dare. I couldn't help a slight apprehensive feeling overtake me, one similar to what I felt when I thought of the Athenian child. I simply chose to ignore it. mistake.
After asking around a few times and increasing the jackalope population by a few dozen, It seemed she was once again back in camp and currently residing in a renovated cave system, located in the forest between Zeus's fist and long island sound (the lake). I had no idea what they meant by a renovated cave or why she lived in one, but I had a location and that was all I needed. I set off from the Big house headed directly towards my fathers fist something I never thought I'd ever think until now.
On my way to the cave system I took in the surrounding forest assessing how healthy it was, and of course it was littered with damages from capture the flag. Something I could not blame the camp for since my girls had more than contributed their fair share when they'd participate.
