[Percy's POV:]

Today we leave for camp half blood and emotions were at an all time high, I could barely keep the girls from clinging to my fur. Luckily for me, being a giant wolf has its perks, I could easily fit 5 hunters on my back comfortably. Though I was still a dwarf when compared to Mrs. O'Leary who was probably even taller after all these years, which when you consider she was bigger than a tank, would be massive. I missed her a lot and being a wolf I could probably talk to her now which was a weird yet but awesome thought.

I was currently dead centre of the Hunt's trekking formation, more like sandwiched there between hunters and the other wolves who had on their own elected me as the new alpha, basically staking a claim to me as there's which I had NOT accepted.. Being faithful is so hard.. Artemis was next to me chatting idly about random things, very intent not to bring up the very sudden confession that had ended in a sleepless night of tears. I hoped she was alright and wanted to comfort her, but the truth is I would never betray my wise girl and that fact is painful and reassuring to Artemis at the same time. A confusing emotion to say the least.

"Percy, I never did tell you the full prophecy did I?" It was random, but compared to the previous conversation about how best to castrate a cheating male, this level of randomness was more than welcome. "No Arty, you didn't. I'm guessing it's about me knowing my luck" she chuckled at the obvious accuracy of my words. Of courses it's about me.. I'm never gonna be lucky enough for it not to be about me.

"It's been a while since I last heard it, but it goes something like this:"

The Twice hero turned canine by time

The Earth shall rise when he and the moon shines

Misunderstood, the hero must choose

To save the Earth or slice it through

Great, juuust great. Geae? Again? Why is it always me that has to fight these over powerful beings of destruction to save the world. Especially with my new... build.

"Well it seems I'm fighting dirt face again and this time as a wolf, well at least I still have riptide inside me" I spoke as we walked through the forest that led to camp half blood.

"Dirt face? Where do you get these names from? Do you pick ones that are most likely to anger them?" While I didn't answer out loud, the answer was most definitely yes.

"So, what do I do when we get there Arty?" She blushed at my casual use of her new nickname.

"I plan to introduce you first as Damian since we don't know if there are traitors in the camp like last time. The prophecy is common knowledge in the camp now and everyone is looking for you. I had to fake my fair share of hunts for you" I was happy that she cared enough to lie to the entire counsel about my location, though I wasn't sure why she had. It wasn't like I was hiding from the gods and as usual, Artemis replied to my unguarded thoughts.

"It's because my father believes you became a werewolf, he wants you killed and won't listen to any reason. I'm sure a few of them know you are here but that's about it" of course the drama queen would do that and his trigger happy taser always has it out for my sweet tail.

"Thanks Artemis, but I at least want to tell my close friends, after what happened with Hera's plan, they've all become a little over protective" Artemis thought about this for a minute before nodding her head.

"That seems OK, we will introduce you as a blessed wolf called Damian to the masses then and after the introduction before the crowd disperses, I'll have Chiron summon Leo, piper, Jason, hazel, Frank and the Athenian girl to explain the truth" I took note of her not so subtle avoidance of Annabeths named, though I took note that it was probably jealousy talking. It'd be the same for me if Artemis found someone else... I'd probably wanna.. dispose of them. At least that is what my wolf instincts say in a much less sugar coated manner.
