A/N I am so sorry for how long this chapter has taken. If you check out my conversation post on my profile it will explain part of the reason why this chapter took such a long time to get out. The other reasoning was just plainly, writer block. I got it on several parts in this chapter and it was such a pain to get away from. Anyway, hope you all enjoy this chapter.

Also, please tell me how I did with the friendly banter int this chapter, I'm not very good at writing that and I would love to hear how I did.

"Aww, is the hothead angry? How sad."

Kai felt his blood start to boil when hearing the smirk in the ghost's voice. "Go away, haven't you caused enough problems already? Just leave me alone."

Morro chuckled, "No, I don't think I have. Besides, it's quite entertaining to watch you try and deal with all this. It's not exactly working out well, now is it?"

"You're the reason I'm in this mess to begin with!" The brunet turned around and sat up, glaring at the ghost. Morro, who was a bit more transparent than he usually was, was holding his hands behind his head, legs crossed, floating as if he had been sitting in a chair, well...a very tall chair, at least.

He pretended to be confused, a grin decorating his face despite his best efforts, "Oh yeah, that's true. But what does that have to with anything?" His grin turned into a taunting smirk, "Do you perhaps, want my help? Or are you already giving up on our little....agreement?"

"In your dreams, freak. I'm not giving up, there's just been a bit of a rough start, that's all...." The brunet turned his head away as he trailed off.

"Tsk, keep telling yourself that." Morro swiftly floated over to the ninja, coming up behind him, his cold ghost breath tickling the other's ear, "But we both know who's going to win this war, and it's not you hothead."

Kai quickly turned his head, only to find the ghost gone. And suddenly he felt his stomach drop, the realization finally hitting him. No matter if he succeeded with his objective or not, Morro was going to win. It had been a useless fight from the moment he woke up as the ghost's prisoner.

Whatever happened...... Morro was going to get his revenge. And Kai may as well have helped him with it.

....

As the night crept in over Ninjago most of the ninjas found themselves chilling in their living room, all except their recently injured friend who had repeatedly asked to be left alone, much to his teammates' concern and disappointment.

But as the sky started to get the darkest, the red ninja entered the living room. Even though he seemed like he still wanted to be left alone with how he kept the hood on his sweatshirt pulled up and kept his head low.

"Are you serious!? How is that a valid reason for him to become a bad guy!?" Jay exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air. The source of his frustration being a scene in the movie they were currently watching.

"I can see that as a valid reason." Cole shrugged, grabbing a hand of popcorn.

Jay stared at him in disbelief, "Are you serious!? His reasoning was that the bad guys had better cake and cookies!"

The earth ninja nodded, "Yeah, like I said, a valid reason," he put another piece of popcorn in his mouth and then looked over at the ginger, "What? You don't think tasty cake is a good reason for joining the bad guys?"

"No!"

"Then what do you think is a good reason? Huh?"

"I-....." Jay shut his mouth, trying to come up with a good reason.
