Pet? ||chapter 5||

i couldn't remember making my way back to the dorm last night as i sat up in my bed hearing very loud knocking coming from my door, "coming" i said stumbling towards the door opening it rubbing my eyes to see mina "why aren't you up yet you have an hour until class!" mina said standing at my door shouting telling me to rush back inside the dorm to put my uniform on i rushed to get ready for my classes as i made my way to the common area where the rest of my friends sat eating their breakfast cereal, i was sat on the sofa when i seen my dad walk into the dorms "is y/n here?" he asked looking around as i popped over the sofa "yea dad what's up?" this is the first time i had seen him since saturday morning and i was glad to see him once again "papa is going on a secret mission so it's just going to be me in the house the next few weeks" i looked up to my dad furrowing my eyebrows understanding what he just said to me "where is he? i need to say bye to him before he leaves" my dad put his hand on my shoulder stopping me from walking outside to find my dad "he already left" i stood there staring at my dad giving a confused look to him smiling "w-what,why!" i stammered and stood still while my dad tried to comfort me i pushed him away standing right infront of me i felt anger run through my body as i went back to my dorm not going to class "why is he so fucking stupid!" he knew how important it was to say goodbye to each other we don't know what could happen he could get seriously injured, i sat in my room frustrated and i sat on my bed screaming into a pillow

-time skip to lunch-

I decided to get changed and go for a little walk trying to take my mind of my papa, i walked past a few shops with a mask on due to the smell of gas that clogged my throat i continued walking to the little market i kept walking and stopped at an old lady's stall i seen she had a little kitten that looked very cute and i looked up at the old lady asking if i could have some meat and bread from her stall she nodded and packed the goods up for me i look back down to the little kitten the old lady smiled at me "do you like the kitten?" she said smiling handing me the bag of goods "yea they seem pretty cute" i smiled back at her scratching the back of the cats ear "would you like to keep him?" the lady looked to me as my eyes widened "really?! are you sure ma'am" i said picking the kitten up as he cuddled into my jacket i had on "of course darling, he was the last one left out of his siblings, so why not" the woman smiled as i bowed to her smiling under my mask and i walked away with the kitten resting inside of my jacket sleeping silently as i walked to the pet shop.

i got inside the pet shop and looked around for somethings i would need for the little guy i rubbed the top of his head while he slept and i smiled under my mask until i took it off now that i was inside "this looks like an okay collar doesn't it little guy?" i said talking to the kitten hiding in my jacket once again i smiled at the adorableness as i picked up a little bed for him a bag of food and some pet dishes and a litter box with some cat litter, i walked around the shop some more finding a toy i looked at it and squeaked it as i heard the cutest little 'meow' ever , i melted from the cuteness as i walked up to the counter and payed for the things i bought. i started walking back to school and i was now outside of the dorm and made my way to my room, i opened the door and dropped everything at the door and layed the kitten on my bed while i ruffled with his fluffy head he licked me and meowed again, i heard some people talking and of course i heard bakugo shouting his head off at kirishima and denki along with Sero as they teased bakugo i forgot i left my door open and bakugo was standing at his dorm door when he seen the shopping bags on the floor thinking something bad happened he put his bag down and walked into my room seeing me laying on my bed with a sleepy kitten that was stretching, i woke up and turned to see the tall ash blond looking down at me making eye-contact with the little kitten then picking him up "why is there a kitten here" he said in a rough voice "an old lady at the market asked if i wanted to take the kitten and i kinda got attached and took him" bakugo nodded smirking looking down at the little kitten as the kitten stretched up onto bakugos face giving him a little kiss on the nose, i never seen a really soft side of bakugo before and i liked this side of him. suddenly the moment was interrupted by my dad as he stood leaning in the doorway of my dorm bakugo handed me the kitten and left with his hands in his pockets "y/n why is there a cat in your dorm" i looked over to my dad getting upset knowing he wasn't going to approve of me keeping him here i looked down to the kitten giving him sad eyes and the kitten looked like he knew what was about to happen "what's its name?" my dad said coming into my dorm and sitting on my bed "i don't have a name for him yet.." i said handing my kitten over to my dad as he held the kitten close to him petting the kittens head, "i guess you can keep him here i just need to ask all might".

-later that night-

i finally got all of the kittens stuff sorted out and i packed his food bag away into a cupboard and lifted the kitten going into the common area making some dinner for myself, i was stirring the pot of noodles when mina stood beside me making some hot chocolate "who's that little guy" mina said touching the kitten on the head while he purred "he's my new pet, i don't have a name for him yet" i said pouring the noodles into a bowl "oh, okay" mina waved to me and the kitten saying goodnight and heading back to her room, i seen bakugo eating some sort of curry i walked over too him and sat near him as the kitten walked down my body making his way to bakugo curling up on his lap as they watched Tv together "traitor!" i said watching the kitten get comfy in bakugos lap and i continued to eat my noodles and head to bed.
