Yashiro POV
I have this habit of twirling and curling my hair when i'm nervous and it's been happening more often. Probably because Y/n and I are closer. They're very sweet and sometimes they can tease me about my "crushes" (they're fake...), and really cute and they-AGH SHOOT I'M DOING IT AGAIN. I keep on doing this stupid thing where I just compliment Y/n in my mind and it's soooooo annoying.
"Uhm, Nene-chan?" I jumped. Y/n smiled. " What're you doing standing in the hallway like you just saw a ghost?"
"Ah nothing." I sigh.
"ooOOOoooo do you have a new crush?" They ask.
"no no no no..."
"Well Valentine's Day is coming!" They say cheerily. "I bet you'll get a bunch of boys!"
"Oh I don't know...." We started walking to homeroom. "I think I'm going to maybe ask someone out on a blind date...like secret admirer fashioned. I'll ask them to meet me behind the school or something....and then make it romantic or something like that."
"So you'll be busy, eh?" Y/n gives me a big hug. "I wish people'd fall for me like they do for you."
"Don't lie, Y/n." I smile, trying to hide my blush.

Y/n POV
VALENTINES DAYYYYYYY
(i'm hyped up)
"NENE-CHANNNNNN!!!" You squeal as you see her walking to school. You run over to her, knocking her over when you come in for a hug.
"AH Y/N!" Yashiro says. "H-how are you so excited?"
"IT'SVALENTINE'SDAYNENE-CHANHOWCOULDYOUNOTBEEXCITED!!!" You yell quickly.
"Oh right." Yashiro seems unaffected until her eyes widen. "HOLY FISH TANKS IT'S VALENTINE'S DAY!!!"
"MhM aReN't YoU eXcItEd?" You give her another hug. "didn't you do the secret admirer thingy?"
"I FORGOT. OMG I FORGOT I FORGOT AHHHHH!!!" She cried.
"Nene-chan you can still make it run to the school be quick!!" You smile as she runs off.
She's so cute. You think as you chew on your nail. I wish I could.

You waited for Yashiro outside the classroom, not wanting to see who she's asking out, checking the time every five seconds. Basically this is how you spent the last 26 minutes:
You: *looks up at clock* WHAT TIME IS IT
Clock: *can't talk*
You: *angry*
Clock: *can't feel emotions. can't feel scared*
You: *gives the clock the stink eye*
You: *sees that it's 8:39 and twenty one minute's until class* damn it
You repeatedly did this until you realized the clock wasn't moving and 26 minutes later it still reads: 8:39. You checked your phone (which honestly you should've done in the beginning. Don't trust school clocks) and just as you did Yashiro come out from the classroom.
"Hi Nene-chan!" You hug her. "You excited?"
"I-i'm worried." Yashiro said.
"How come? This guy's gonna fall for you immeditatly!!" you say. "Can I see who it is?"
"No!" Yashiro blurted out. "I mean no...sorry it's a surprise."
"O-okay." You smile.
Students started pile-ing in and you wanted to go last so you could see the look on that lucky guys face! You waited a little bit, and when you opened the door, you felt like the luckiest person in the world; The only person with a love letter on their desk...was you.
. . . . . . . .
"nene-chan?" You ask. "Y-you like me?"
Yashiro was blushing the reddest red you'd ever seen. You had pulled her outside the classroom.
"W-well y-yeah I guess I do..." she looked away.
"I-I-I-why didn't you tell me before? We've been friends for....4 years!!" You say.
"Hey it took me a lot of courage to do that!" Yashiro snapped. "I don't know if I'll ever be able to do it again!"
"I-" You stopped yourself. "You're right. I'm sorry. I actually do like you. A lot." You blushed. "So it's surprising that you- I mean it in a good way-liked me."
"So that means we both like each other....and that means...?"
"We can kiss?" You suggest.
"Y/N!!!!" yashiro blushed.
