Smile (teru x reader)

You screamed. That's all you felt like doing. Screaming. When it came to break ups, screaming was the solution. Some people sob and spoon ice cream into their mouth, but you screamed. And recked your room. You usually screamed until your voice was gone so no one'd here you cry. But on occasion you'd call Teru Minamoto. You might've been the only person in the whole world who wasn't head over heels for him. He could be annoying, but everyone else said you were crazy and he called you "a normal person" so he was your best friend. He once called you cute. But that wasn't important. 

You pulled out your phone, already dialing Teru's number. You sighed as the phone rang. 

"Hello?" 

"Teru?" You say as loud as you can (which sense the screaming was more of a whisper). 

"Y/n I heard you were-"

"Can you just come over?" You cut him off. 

"Sure thing." You could hear the smile In his voice. 

He arrived ten minutes later, in a pineapple hoodie and ice cream. 

"I'm not eating ice cream." You say firmly. 

"It's for me." Teru replied as he sat down next to you.

"You have two spoons." 

"Who says I can't eat ice cream with two spoons?" Teru asks.

"Me." 

Teru opened the ice cream tub, took a spoonful, and  offered you the spoon. 

"Say aww." 

"N-" as your mouth formed an n, he stuffed the ice cream in your mouth. "tfefru!!"

"See? It yummy." He smiled. 

"mhm." You rolled your eyes. You took the spoon out of your mouth. "You're the worst."

"I sure am." He took the other spoon and ate some ice cream. 

"I hate him." You say, taking another spoonful of ice cream.

"me too." Teru said.

"You don't-"

"But I know that if he broke up with you then he's a horrible person." 

"Teru you're the worst...." You leaned against the wall. 

"you already said that."

"You're stupid." You say. "I'm hopeless. We're both trainwrecks of people." 

"I-......" Teru scooped some more ice cream in his mouth. "If we're both trainwrecks, then we're two of a kind." 

"Ah Teru I didn't mean it-wait what?" You stood up. "Teru why do you even care about me?" 

"Because.....I don't know. Maybe because you don't have a crush on me." Teru stood up. 

"Teru...why do you think you're a train wreck?" You ask, having to look up cuz he was the taller one. 

"I dunno." For some stupid reason, you felt bad and hugged him. "Y/n?" 

"I-i didn't mean to hurt you." You say, holding him tightly. 

"Why do you think that?" Teru wrapped his arms around you. 

"I-I could just tell." You lie. You couldn't tell. You knew.

You hugged each other in silence, you buried you head on his shoulder. 

"Hey Teru...."

"Yes?" 

"I-I love you." You sigh. "i'm sorry."

"don't be." He kissed the top of your head. 

"Okay. I'm not sorry." And you weren't.
