Slughorn took the lid off a tiny cauldron, showing it to the class "This here is Amortentia, would anyone like to explain what it is?" Hermiones hand flew into the air, nearly giving me whiplash.
"Yes, Ms Granger?"
"Amortentia is the strongest love potion in the world, it is rumored to smell differently to each person accourding to what attracts them."
"Correct. Mr Malfoy, why don't you try it first since you're our newest member?"
Dracos head shot up from the table, which he was carving his initials into with his quill. He shrugged and walked over to the cauldron. Every girl in the class was spraying their perfume to make sure Draco caught their sent. He stretched over the cauldron and took in a whiff. His face lightened up with the sweet refreshing smell.
"I uh- I smell lavender, vanilla and.. cherry."
Blaise sniggered to himself, then nudging Hermione in the shoulder to look at you. She giggled, catching Harry and Ron's attention. Thats when the entire class looked at you applying your 'Cherry Bomb-Shell Lipgloss' you clapped your tiny mirror closed as you noticed everyone looking at you.
"Y/N, what flavour lipgloss is that?" Hermione could barely get her words out, the giggles made the words levitate.
"Cherry, why? do you want some?" I said so innocently, I had not clue what they were laughing at.
Crabbe smacked his hand on his forehead while he fell into Goyles shoulder, they both laughed so hard that they almost fell over, I looked at them then I looked at Hermione. You could say I was saved by the bell. Hermione pulled me into the corridors as they flooded with students going to their next class.
"What happened in there? You're all acting so weird.."
"Didn't you hear what Draco said? Y/N, he likes you!"
"What- No, impossible. He literally just came to Hogwarts.. an hour ago." You shook your head while you tossed your hair to the left side of your face. "He's probably like every other boy anyways, only in it for the looks or the body."
"Well, the Amortentia says otherwise."
I look hear the sarcasm fall from her mouth, I nudged her in the shoulder as we continued to walked to Care of Magical Creatures with Hagrid.
