Peter walked out of his tent, glancing around camp. Oreius had started to walk past the boy, but stopped and made eye contact with him, then glancing over his shoulder. Peter followed his gaze, seeing Aslan talking to a certain someone.

Edmund.

As Oreius walks away, Peter keeps his gaze on his brother when Susan, Y/n, and Lucy walk out, following the blondes gaze, seeing Edmund standing in front of the lion. Y/n feels a smile grow on her face as she stares at the boys figure.

Lucy gasps in happiness. "Edmund!" She starts to run forward, but Peter stops her.

Hearing the girls voice, both Aslan and Edmund look to the four kids down the hill. Edmund's gaze instantly goes to Y/n, who was staring at him, as well. Sharing a few more words, he slowly starts to walk towards them, Aslan following.

Once the two stand in front of the four, Edmund makes eye contact with Peter, then Y/n. And they both kept it. The only one who noticed the eye contact between the two, was Aslan. He knew right away how his daughter felt about the boy. And how he felt back.

"What's done is done." He spoke, making the two break eye contact. "There is no need to speak to Edmund about what is past." And with that, he walks away.

As Edmund looks down at his feet, Y/n takes time to study his features. He had a busted lip. And a bruise growing on his cheek.

"Hello." Edmund speaks softly, fearing to make eye contact again with any of them.

Lucy had a big smile as she walked forward, wrapping her petit arms around her brother, to which he smiles softly, resting his head on hers lightly and wrapped his arms around her small frame. Peter continued staring at his brother with a frown.

Edmund and Lucy pulled away before he hugged Susan, who smiled almost as big as Lucy. They then pulled away, before he made eye contact with Y/n again. They stayed like that before she tackled him in a hug, which made him smile big. She lightly kissed his cheek, resting her head on his shoulder, while he rested his head on hers.

They slowly pulled away, but Y/n kept a small grip on his arm.

"Are you alright?" Susan asked.

"I'm a little tired."

"Get some sleep." Peter finally spoke. Edmund obeyed, walking past him, taking one last glance at Y/n. "And Edmund..." Peter stopped him, making the said boy look back at him. "...try not to wander off." The blonde smiled and chuckled lightly, and he received a sheepish smile from Edmund back.

Y/n, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy sat at a small table, eating food, while Peter stood feet away from them, leaning against a rock, eating as well. Lucy looked to Edmund, watching him eat a piece of toast eagerly.

"Narnia's not going to run out of toast, Ed." She spoke, causing Edmund to smile sheepishly at her.

"I'm sure they'll pack something up for the journey back." Peter assured, making them look at him.

"We're going home?" Y/n questioned.

"You are." He simply answered, walking to them, sitting down. "I promised mum and your mum I'd keep you four safe. But it doesn't mean I can't stay behind and help."

"But they need us." Lucy spoke, objecting her brothers idea. "All five of us."

"Lucy, it's too dangerous. You and Y/n almost drowned!" That made Edmund snap his gaze to Y/n, staring at her with wide eyes. "Edmund was almost killed!"
