Chapter 6

*Baileys POV"

My eyes fluttered open, and judging by my surroundings, I'm still at Ricky's.

Jack was holding a damp cloth on my face, and Ricky walked in with a glass of water.

I don't remember much before Matt called me. Did I pass out? What did Matt say again?

I can't remember anything.

"Jack..." I managed to murmur. He hushed me saying over and over "you're going to be okay."

But the thing is I'm not.

I'm pretty sure Matt is out to get me. Oh my god. I need a flight to Miami, quick.

I'm not going back because I want to, but who knows what Matt will do. He may hurt me, or worse, Jack, my other friends, my family?

It's an understatement saying I'm a little scared. I'm getting nervous just thinking about what Matt said.

"Or else," keeps replaying in my head, over and over again.

You may not think Matt could cause a lot of damage, but trust me, I need to do something fast.

I started to stand up, but next thing I knew Jack had me by the wrist, pulling me back onto the couch.

"Stop." I said formidably. Jack quickly let go of my wrist and raised his eyebrow.

"What's wrong?" He interrogated.

"Nothing." And with that I ran out of Ricky's apartment.

The streets were empty.

No one to be seen for miles.

Where should I go? Back to me and Jack's? Back to Ricky's?

"Bailey! What's wrong?!" Jack says running towards me.

Maybe I should tell him... I told Jack everything, the whole phone call, every single thing.

"That's why you want to go?" He questioned.

I nodded in return.

"If you're going, then I'm coming too." He stated.

No. He can't come. What would Matt do?

"No, you have to trust me. Please, let me do this on my own... Please?" I felt tears form in my eyes.

"Fine. If you want to do this alone, then I guess we're through." And with that Jack got up and left.

Left me standing in the middle of the road. Alone.
