True Friends (Chapter Six)

Thomas came in just as I woke up.

He looked at the floor then at me with a weird face expression

*shoot i forgot Newt was there*

"i got in a fight with Minho and Newt comforted me i don't want to talk about it" i said shaky because i thought about me and Minhos fight

"Come here it's alright Minho just really cares about you" i said pulling me into a hug

"doubt that" i said

"but it still doesn't explain Newt on the floor" he laughed

"oh...hey Thomas" Newt said now sitting up on the floor

We then walked to breakfast. i was hoping Minho would say something or atleast sit with us.

Minho then came and sat down with some of the older runners giving us a mad look which mostly was directed at Newt i think.

"hey" Newt grapped my hand under the table "it's gonna be okay your with me in garden today and then we'll figure this out later."

Thomas nodded at me with a small smile "and i'll try talking to minho if he'll let me"

Chuck then came and sat down it was sweet how he tried keeping a convosation even when the mood was totally off.

I liked listening to Chuck talk. he had so much to tell. he was always happy and he always brought a smile to my face

I ended up laughing at something Chuck had said.

"i like that laugh" Newt said smilling at me while still holding my hand under the table

I didn't say much mostly just answered with small sentences to Chucks questions

I have never really thought much about how Thomas always seemed to be around when anyone was sad.

"thanks again Thomas" i looked at him, then squezzed Newts hand as I left.

he smilled at me and said "for what?" but I had already left

~later in gardens~

I was bored of gardening and there wasn't really much to do other than talk to Newt. he was the only one i  felt like talking to.

"Come get fertilizer with me" he said winking at me and grapped my hand leading me towards the Woods.

As we entered the woods, he turned me to face him, as he grapped my waist pulling me close.

"couldn't wait any longer to do this" he said smilling pulling me tight into his arms as he softly kissed me

I blushed as I said happily "i have been waiting for that to happen again"

"feeling better now?" he said still holding me tight.

"much better" i said kissing his cheek as we went back

~later on~

I forgot a bit about Minho and just talked to Newt as we joked around in the gardens. I think the other gardeners was a bit annoyed at us, but we didn't care.

We had fun for the rest of the day.

"hey Guys dinners ready" it was Thomas he came and put his arms around both of our necks leading us towards the kitchen

First There i noticed that Thomas was taller than both of us. Newt was tall but Thomas must be about a inch or two taller. I am atleast two or three inches smaller than Them both.

I laughed at him

"hey y/n your favourite right?" frypan said as he handed me the plate with food

"you really made it because of me? "

"of course i did" he winked at me

me, Newt and Thomas left to sit down with Chuck and Jeff, who was one of the medjacks Chuck was telling some story to.

I have never really talked much to Jeff. when i first came i helped him a bit in med-Jack, but I was to scared at the time to talk to anyone.

We talked for hours while finish eating.

Thomas looked at me concerned and then looked behind me

I turned around to see Minho standing there

He looked mad at Thomas and Newt (like the gif)

"look okay I'm sorry y/n i love you. Your My Best friend, but your not gonna change my mind, so either you do or this fight will go on" he looked at Me.

I felt Newt grab my hand tight as his other hand rested on my back rubbing it gently

"LOOK MINHO I WANT THIS JOB AND JUST BECAUSE YOU CARE DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO CONTROL WHAT I CAN DO" i yelled at him with tears in my eyes then ran off to My hut.

Newt followed me and ran into my Hut helping me up from the floor which i was sitting on crying and pulled me into a hug as he kissed my forhead.

"it's okay. He is an idiot but we need to stop all of this your falling apart love" he was right i was in pieces over a stupid fight.

Chuck then came in

"Newt i need to talk to you really
Quick" he said nodding at him all serious

He then sat me down in my hammock as he followed Chuck out

~Newts pov (just so it makes sense ) ~

"I can't comfort her like you Newt. She needs you right now. So will you sleep in there with her? Please i want her to be okay. you can borrow my hammock i'll sleep with the runners"

I (newt) nodded at Chuck while smilling at myself with the thought of  me and y/n.

"i think your right Chuck, and sleep well buddy love you" i said he was really such a sweet and caring Boy.

"love you Newt" Chuck said as he left to the runners.

~back at y/n pov~

"so looks like i'll sleep here" Newt came in as he kissed My forhead then layed down in Chucks hammock

I didn't question it i just smilled at him.

"goodnight, lizard"

"Goodnight, love"
