He sat up from his intoxicated slumber, every inch of his head pounding in the most excruciating pain, as if he was being smacked upside the head by numerous tiny spawns of hangover hell. As if there was an inflatable directly beneath his brain, slowly growing in size as time passed. The suave bass player had not bothered opening his eyes to greet the world as the mere prickling heat of the sunlight bursting through his open drapes assaulted already his eyelids.
Every muscle in his body throbbed and ached. Did he run a marathon last night? Was he being chased by street thugs like that one time they performed in Hong Kong? Or perhaps did he have one of the best performances of his music career, fall into the temptation of the devils lettuce and had the bright idea to do ten soju bombs on an empty stomach, all thanks to the ridiculous diet his manager kept him on? "Oh man!" He groaned while making his first attempt to sit up properly from the dark grey suede couch that sat to the center of the living room. A dreadful mistake, one to add to the many that had already accumulated on the figurative list. The moment he decided to make the big move, his stomach contracted and he got hit with a wave of dizziness. The squeezed gut caused him to lurch up a foul gag. The taste of bitter bile with a hint of beer tickled the back of his throat.
"Oh boy, bad idea Satoru." He managed to groan out. The bassist slapped the back of his hand over his already closed eyes, a poor attempt to save his hyper sensitive vision. His stark white hair, usually quaffed into an up do now fell flat, giving him stringy like bangs sweeping across his forehead. Beads of sweat formed from the pores of his hairline, slowly dripping down from his temple; his body's natural response to heat, an effort to cool itself off. "This is the worst I have ever felt after a show." The slow husky rumbles of a once drunk man ached his parched throat. "But that just means I had the best night ever right? Heck Yea!" he exclaimed through the hangover's natural grogginess. The remnants of adrenaline traveled through his body in one final burst.
