Chapter 7

After Eugene's comment Keith gets a sort of disappointed look on his face and becomes disheartened, but he quickly pushing that off and agrees.
"It will never happen again, no need to worry." Keith says.
Ned and Zach look at each other and just say "Okay."
They boys work in silence for the rest of the day and their team starts to get curious as to why they are so quiet.
"Hey guys what's up?" Miles comes in trying to get some info.
"hey Miles! Look guys Miles is here!" Zach says excited for the tension to be broken.
"So, uh what's going on? You guys have been really quiet since you got back from lunch." Miles asks.
"Oh ya know just really focused on these videos, trying to make the best content!" Keith says trying to hide the nervousness in his voice.
"Okay well, the team and I are gonna head out for the night. We'll see you guys tomorrow." Miles says with his eyebrow raised not convinced with their story, but leaves anyways.
"He's right, it's getting pretty late we should uh head home." Ned says, "Gotta go give Ariel a break from the baby."
"Yeah I should go too, I don't want Maggie to have to clean up whatever mess Bowie has left." Zach adds.
Eugene stands up and starts packing his things as well and says, "Yeah probably a good time to head home."
All while this is happening Keith is just staring at his computer screen not talking, not typing, not clicking, just staring.
"Keith? You coming?" Zach asks.
"Huh? Oh! Uh, yeah I'm just gonna finish this up really quick, i'll lock up don't worry." Keith says coming out of his deep thought.
"Okay see you guys tomorrow." the guys say to each other as they each leave.
