Dreams and dismay. -DOB fan fic- Finished!

Part Eighteen

While Dylan and Marie remained at there home in England. Dylan has his contracts looked over and amended to make sure things was included regarding Marie and the children. Of course his manager wasn't happy still but finally Dylan made it clear to her on matters. And that sometimes life changed.

Marie was included in all talks regarding films promoting, every thing. And would be with him and the children as well.

Of course rumours started that it was because of the so called cheating. But it was put to rest on things. It was like every choice they made about there lives was always brought up to the false rumours. Even after the interviews was released. So fair he had done all them. So fans knew what was happening with in there marriage and his acting.
Some was still a bit upset that once Dylan had filmed the last film he wouldn't be filming for a while as taking a break.

Fans was kind of looking forward to seeing Dylan with his family by his side. In person events wouldn't be happening for some time yet. But they had that to look forward to in the near future.
But right now everything was over zoom. Dylan seemed to mind. Yes he missed his friends and the social interaction but right now it was safer this way.

Of course Dylan was on twitter a lot. As so much was happening in America he was tweeting and retweeting stuff.

His family was a bit surprised as well that he had decided to stay in England. They thought he might come back but he explained to them. That for the sake of there family they needed to be where it was relax quiet. And California wasn't the place.  Of course they would go and visit once things was back to normal.

Dylan was due to start filming another film with in a few months after Christmas luckily filming was in London. And it hadn't been told to the public yet. So Marie never said anything.
Of course they would be travelling to London for the few weeks of filming.  This would be the last film he would be filming for a while.

The kids was excited for this. His co stars knew his family would be joining them.

Christmas was busy for them both. This was the first Christmas Dylan would be with them. Other times he would have been filming but not this year.
Marie had managed to get the presents on line and hidden safely away from them. She would wrap them when the twins was a sleep. Or when Dylan was doing zoom calls.

Dylan had brought his wife some things and the twins as well. He also hide them so she didn't find them.
Of course he helped wrapped the twins presents as well.

Dylan was talking to his friends on zoom. As lockdowns rules was tighter at the moment. Even though it was relaxing for one day and that was Christmas Day. Both of them thought was a bad idea.

Zoom call

"Hey Dylan where is your gorgeous wife". Will said.

"She's here in the kitchen. Shall I go and get her". Dylan said.

"Yes we haven't seen her for ages". Kaya said.

Dylan nodded and stood up. He walked into the kitchen. Marie was making some food. The twins was a sleep in bed.
"Hey sweetie". Dylan said. Kissing her. She looked at him and smiled.
"You hungry was making a sandwich. Who was you talking too?" Marie said.
"I'm on zoom with some friends why don't you come and say hi. They would like to see you". Dylan said.
"Erm oh ok let me make the sandwiches and I will come and say hi". Marie said.
Dylan nodded and kissed her again. He left the kitchen. He knew Marie felt a bit awkward talking to his friends. Well not all of them as some was nice and understood why they stayed in England. His other friends was still not liking it.
Marie made the sandwiches. Dylan was talking.
