Dreams and dismay. -DOB fan fic- Finished!

Part Nineteen

Soon Marie got the twins ready For bed. They was tired. But was trying to stay awake.
"Ok you two. It's bedtime". Marie said as she walked into the twins room.
"Oh mum". They both said together.
"Come on it's get torn late and you two are tired. Plus me and daddy need to sleep as well". Marie said.
The twins sigh to them selfs making Marie laugh a bit. They soon got into there beds.
"Daddy come on". Mitch said.
Dylan walked into the room and smiled. Marie got them into bed. Soon reading them a story.
Both Marie and Dylan gave them both a kiss.
Both settling down in bed. They left the twins to sleep.
Closing the door. Marie walked over to the sofa and sat down. Dylan watched her for a while. He soon sat next to her.
"You know they might be unsettled for a few nights". Marie said.
"I dealt it. They seem to adjust to change better than we do". Dylan said.
Marie looked at him. She moved and laid her head on his lap. Both looking at the tv. Dylan gently stroking her hair. Marie loved this feeling. She closed her eyes.  Enjoying the quiet time she had with her husband before filming started. Has she knew once that started there quiet time would be limited.
Because he would be on set and his co stars would need to be speaking to him.

There was a few rules Marie had put in place. Which she had spoken to Dylan about and that was there was no coming and going after the twins was in bed. And they would need to be quiet if they was in the hotel room when the twins was a sleep.
Dylan didn't see a problem with them rules. But had yet to speak to his co stars on them.  Dylan decided he would do that once he was on set. The twins had not meet these co stars yet. Marie was a bit worried about this. But she knew Dylan would be there as well. So her nervous was eased a bit.

"What are you thinking about?" Dylan said. As he continued to play with her hair.
"How do you know I'm thinking about something?" Marie said.
"Because your sighing a lot. What's wrong?" Dylan said.
Marie turned and looked up at him.
"I'm just a bit worried. That your co stars will think my rules are a joke and go against them causing problems for us". Marie said.
"I will make it clear to them on them rules ok. And that they can't do what ever they like around the children". Dylan said.
"I know you will. It's just I have found some of your co stars to be a bit too up them selfs you know". Marie said.
Dylan smiled at her.
"I know. But I promise you ok. Even if I have to tell them they rules for our hotel room is with you there ok. So you know I've told them". Dylan said.
"I just don't want the twins to be unsettled. You know how Lily gets around people". Marie said.
"I know sweetie. Look why don't we go and lay in bed. We can talk more there". Dylan said.
Marie nodded getting up. She turned off the tv and went into the room that was separate from the twins.
Once in her pjs she soon got into bed. Dylan sorted out a few things and was soon in bed next to her. Marie cuddled into him.
"You know this would be the first time ever the twins would be with you when your filming. Well in the hotel". Marie said.
"I know. Maybe we should take them on set so they see the people. Then hopefully Lily will be ok and not unsettled". Dylan said.
"Are you allowed to do that?" Marie said.
"I don't see why not. They know the rules. So it should be ok. I will make sure it's ok". Dylan said.
"Ok. Be a good idea. Are you looking forward to filming?" Marie said.
"Yes and no. Be glad when it's done. So I can spend more time with you and the twins". Dylan said.
"I'm sure we all feel that way. I know the twins love having you at home. They have missed you a lot". Marie said.

Dylan felt so bad for over the years. He had gone off to film and not once took his children on set or even to another country. He knew he had a lot of making up to do. Not just too his children but also too Marie as well.

The filming of The film was soon under way. Some of the cast was ok with Marie. Some wasn't. Because they didn't like it that they couldn't hang out in Dylan's hotel room once filming was done after a set time because of Dylan and Marie's children.

"Seriously dude why did you bring them with you? You could have left them at home and we could be having some serious fun". One said.
"Excuse me. She's my wife the mother of my children. This film almost tore are marriage apart. So I'm going to be having her with me and my children. You don't like it because she has put some rules in place for the sake of our twins. Which she as every right to do so. We aren't in are 20's no more you know. I have a family so please show her some respect ok". Dylan said in a firm and pissed off tone.
"Yeah but come on. Couldn't you have left them at the home you are renting why do they need to be here?" He said.
"Because I want them with me that's why. I've missed out on my twins life's enough. I'm not letting this film do that. Ok". Dylan said.
"Maybe she doesn't trust you. Because of all them rumours". The same person said.
"She trusts me. She's my wife and my children are staying. I don't give a fuck if you like it or not ok". Dylan said.

Marie was stood there. Dylan turned around and saw her. She was pissed but not at Dylan.
"I think you better leave this hotel room. I don't want someone like you around or anywhere near my children. Your not welcome in this hotel room". Marie said.
Dylan looked at Marie and then at his co star.
"You heard my wife. I will be speaking to the team tomorrow. And making them fully aware of your attitude about my wife and children being here". Dylan said. Walking to Marie and putting his arm around her waste. The co star didn't say a word. He just left the hotel room closing the door behind him.
"I am so sorry about that". Dylan said.
"It's ok. I do trust you. It's your co stars I don't trust. And he's just proven to me why. Dylan I don't like some of them". Marie said.
"I know. I'm sorry". Dylan said.
"It's not your fault. But you need to have a chat with the team on this situation". Marie said.
"Oh believe me I will be. Please don't tell me the twins heard all that?" Dylan said.
"No there a sleep". Marie said.
"Thank god". Dylan said sitting down looking at Marie.
"I knew some might be a bit off with me being here. But they need to start respecting my wishes. Regarding times etc. Just because a couple of them don't have there wife and kids with them don't mean they can disrespect me". Marie said.
"Come here". Dylan said. Marie walked to him. He pulled her on to his lap. So she was facing him.
"I love you. And I will make sure they never speak about you like that again. They know why your here. I honestly thought he understood". Dylan said. Rubbing her cheek.
"I guess not. But I don't want him near the twins Dylan. Not after this evening". Marie said.
"And that's fine. I will talk to the team". Dylan said. Marie kissed his lips. And laid her head on his shoulder. He gently rubbed her back.
"I love you too". Marie said. Kissing his neck softly. Dylan cuddled her more. The two enjoying the closeness of each other.

Marie looked at the time.
"We should go to bed. It's getting late". Marie said. Dylan moved and got up with her still in his arms. He walked into the bedroom. Laying them both down in bed. Him laying on her. She wrapped her arms around him. Both of them soon falling a sleep.
