I wasn't sure how much time had passed as I relaxed in the warm water; the temperature never changed and I was starting to think that I could stay there for hours.

But the sound of a pair of shoes stepping down onto the tile on the other side of the closed bathroom doors sent a wave of panic over me and I sat up, staring at the doors. I listened as the steps grew closer and then stopped suddenly just outside the doors.

"It's only me, dearest," Came the familiar voice with a hint of amusement.

I relaxed, smiling at the doors. "You nearly scared me."

"Nearly?" Asmodeus chuckled at that and said, "I'll need to try harder next time. Are you decent?"

"Uh..." I looked down at the bath and instinctively put my arms across myself. "Not really."

There was a pause and then he asked in a surprised tone, "Are you still in the bath?"

"It's not my fault," I said defensively. "I usually get out when the water starts to cool down!"

"Ahh, I neglected to tell you that little detail," He chuckled. "Well, dinner is set to start in an hour. And I have a small surprise for you."

I raised an eyebrow at the doors as I stood up, still covering myself just in case even though he had made no indication that he was going to barge in. "Knowing you, I sincerely doubt that it's a small surprise considering the five bouquets of flowers you left at my door the other day."

"What can I say? I enjoy giving." I could hear the grin in his voice and something about his tone told me that he very much enjoyed giving, however what kind of giving I couldn't say for certain. "There should be a robe hanging in your closet that you can use to come out in."

"It's almost as if you planned for me to be not wearing clothes at some point here," I said lightly as I grabbed a towel and began to dry myself off.

"It would be a sin if you were fully clothed all the time," He said in a lusty tone. "A body like yours needs to be worshipped and I'd like to take every opportunity I can get."

I shot another look at the door as I wrapped the towel around me. "You haven't even seen my body."

"The dress you wore on our first date told me enough."

My face grew warm again and I looked down at the floor, pausing before making my way to the closet. As I opened the door, I said over my shoulder, "You're assuming an awful lot."

"Well you could always prove otherwise; I would not complain in any way."

Rolling my eyes, I couldn't hold back a smile as I found the robe and pulled the towel off to replace it. The robe was made of black silk that had a red tint to it when the light hit the folds and felt wonderful on my skin. While it covered everything and was surprisingly modest with the length as the hem grazed my knees, the material itself was somewhat thin and I made sure to cross my arms against my chest before opening the door.

He was waiting for me on the other side with a bright smile on his face, however it didn't take long for me to realize that we weren't alone.

There were two women standing next to each other towards the end of the bed, one with pinkish-red scales and her dark hair pulled into a braid and the other with more red scales and her hair styled long and straight. They were both absolutely stunning, and I couldn't help but feel very much the odd one out.

"This is Aral and Xenya," He said, gesturing towards the two demons. "They will be assisting you in getting ready for tonight's dinner."

They nodded at me with smiles on their faces and an obvious excitement in their eyes. I returned their smiles and gave a slight wave of my hand before quickly returning my arm back to its spot.
