The loud eerie noise dreaded by teens all over the world echoed through Nash Grier's new empty room. Nash jumped out of bed and hopped into the shower. The summer was finally over and school was starting again.
Nash was anxious to start his new school. It was his senior year and he was forced to spend it trying to make new friends. He was use to making new friends since his family traveled a lot, but for some reason he felt this time would be different.
Nash finished putting the final touches to his hair-do as he stepped out of the adjoin bathroom to his room. His bedroom door opened and entered his younger brother Hayes.
"Dude, mom said hurry up or we'll be late." Hayes was young and only a freshman. This would be easier for him than Nash. Hayes stood there frustrated at how they had to leave in 5 minutes and Nash still wasn't dressed.
"Alright. Get out." Nash shoved Hayes out the door and continued getting ready. Nash changed into a grey graphic t-shirt of a monkey with black jeans and red vans. It was a fun look for a fresh start.
He grabbed his black van book sack and left the house to find his brother already waiting in the car. "You ready to go?" Nash asked as he got in the driver's sit.
"Bro, I've been ready for about 10 minutes." Hayes was obviously more nervous than Nash. Hayes has been working to get a spot on the football team. He really wanted it. Hayes was always slightly jealous of Nash for being so naturally good at football and he didn't even care for it.
"Bro, relax. It's only going to take us a few minutes." Nash backed out of the driveway and enter the streets of his suburban area.
"Do you even know where we're going?" Nash could only shake his head at his persistent brother.
"Of course. Why would I drive somewhere if I don't even know where I'm going."
"Because you're an idiot." Nash punched Hayes' shoulder. Three minutes later they pulled up to school. It was modern size. It wasn't like most city schools, but it definitely wasn't small either. Nash pulled in the first empty parking space he could find and turned off the car.
"You go ahead. I got to call somebody." Hayes jumped out the car and left towards the building with girls trailing behind him giggling at how cute they thought he was.
Ava walked into school only to hear a bunch of freshman girls talking about the new kid and how hot he was. She rolled her eyes at the typical freshman. Now, all they can talk about is the cute guys but later all those cute guys will just destroy them like they did to her.
Ava walked to the office and grabbed her new schedule. Mark was making her have every class with him so she can never have an escape from his torture.
She yanked her schedule out of the counselor's hand. Her black combat boots echoing in the hallway as everybody stopped to look at her. No matter how many hot new students that school got, Ava would always be the talk of the school. She was the freak who cried raped on the star quarterback, the principal's son, the one everybody loved. She was forever haunted by this title but she looked fierce while wearing it.
Ava was hands down probably the hottest girl in school, but nobody was allowed to even approach her. It was forbidden by Mark and everyone knew it.
Ava was stopped in the middle of the hallway by Mark and his crew. "Hey, whore. How was your summer? Fucked anybody new?" Ava rolled her eyes at Mark. It was part of his stupid act.
"Wouldn't you like to know." Ava crossed her arms standing tall.
Mark had that unpleased look on his face. It took everything in him not to punch Ava in the face. "I'd watch what you are saying, Hadid." Mark's jaw clenched.
"Or what? You'll beat me up in front of all these people? Now, Markie, dear, I believe you have a reputation you have to keep up, don't you." Ava smirked as she turned around and walked to her first class.
Nash got his schedule and waited for the bell to ring. He entered his first class, Chemistry 2. It took him a while to find the right class room. Great, Nash thought. First day of school and Nash was late for his first class. He slowly opened the door hoping not to cause attention to himself. He knew it wouldn't work. There in the far left corner crouched on a stool a scrawny guy with long brown hair and a full on beard. He could automatically guess that was his Chem teacher.
"Well, what do we have here?" The teacher leaped off his stool standing to be about the same height as Nash. "What is your name?"
Nash glanced around the classroom to see everybody on the edge of their sits watching him. The next few moments would determine if Nash was going to make it in high school or end up like every other loser. "Nash Grier."
