"Come on Sunny, they're just being meanies."

"YEAH! I think you're cute just the way you are!"

Sniffles were heard as the little girl tried to stop her tears, "Really? Are you sure, Jisungie?" She could be seen repeatedly wiping her green eyes, with the sleeve of her gray sweater.

"Of course! Right Lele!" said the little boy, grabbing their friends arm.

"Yeah!" he said with a smile.

"SUNNY!" a a girl with brown hair with blonde streaks ran over to the girl in question, causing a bit of annoyance with some bystanders. Stopping at her desk she repeatedly asks, "WHAT DID IT SAY!"

Sunny shyly said, "I got in."

"Oh my god!! I can't believe we're going to college together too! And just in time, it's the last day of school!"

"Same. By the way Clover, where'd Lila go?" Sunny asked.

"Oh, she's in the art room grabbing some project she left here." she says while messing with a pencil, now sitting in Sunny's desk.

"Thanks again Renjun, I really appreciated the help."

"Anytime Lila, see you later." he gives a small wave.

The pink haired girl softly smiled, a small blush on her face as she holds her dry painting, "See you." she said as the cute boy exited the room. The girl then packs her painting into her self knitted rainbow bag with the rest of her belongings. "I guess I should head back now."

"Speak of the devil!" Clover waves Lila over.

"Hey guys, what are your plans for this summer?"

"I don't really know yet, how about you Clo?"

"Well it's obvious of course, hot girl summer~ I know you're experienced in that department Sunny." She gives Sunflower the look.

"Oh come on, it's never intentional, it just happens." Sunny pushes a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Don't be so humble! You're literally so cute, I forget you're an alpha."

"Haha I guess. Anyway, I don't think I'll do anything of that sort this time around. Most of those relationships- well more like flings I was only in for validation. I think it's time I work on being a better version of myself."

"Ughhh, why are you so wise sounding? We're only 18!!"

"Clo, Sunny's right. Remember we all have our one true mate, might as well make sure we can be the best mate for them."

"Oh shut up Lila, I just wanna have fun! You guys do what you want though, I guess we're doing this one on our own Clover...a lone wolf."

Sunny chuckles, "Whatever guys, it doesn't matter much, and having a temporary mate for heats is always nice Lila, summer's going to fly by and before we realize it'll already be the start of freshman year in college."

"Aww come one, don't remind me. Sure I wanna be a professional actor and what not, but having no responsibilities for a whole three months, I'll be in heaven."

"Don't forget a part time job at least, what money are you going to use for all those student loans?" Lila points out.

"You guys are such bulliesssss."

Sunny giggles, "Don't sulk too much. Besides shouldn't we get out of here now, the guys are probably waiting for us by the gate."

"You're right, again." Clover lazily stands up and snatches her bag up from the ground, "Lets go ladies." She says as she wraps her arms around Lila and I, us already holding our bags.

"Could you guys have taken any longer." Donghyuck rolls his eyes, mainly towards me, as per usual.

"Sure! Why don't we head back inside for another hour or so to make sure we fulfill your request as graciously as possible!"

"Calm down there Sunny, let's go get ice cream!" Jaemin says grabbing my arm.

"Ice cream does sound good, any objections?" Renjun asks.

Silence follows, because who would object going for ice cream? Only morons of course.

"Eh, I'm in the mood for burgers." Donghyuck objects. Ahh the resident moron.

"Oh come on Donghyuck, you love ice cream, as does everyone else." Jeno tries to reason.

I think we all know why he's doing this of course.

"Well I think we all agree on ice cream, so you'll just have to deal."

"Uh, no." He simply states.

"Yes."

"Hmm, no."

My eye starts to twitch, "I believe you meant yes," as I start taking steps towards him.

Jaemin starts whispering to Clover, "It's time like these when I remember she's really an alpha."

How nice.

"Everyone else wants ice cream correct?" Not waiting for an answer I say, "Great, that's what we're getting. Lets go."

I don't know what it is about Donghyuck, but no matter what he's always been able to push my buttons so easily. Fucking fuckhead.

I am definitely getting three scoops this time.

Unknown to Sunny, there was a small smile dancing on his lips, but it was only for a moment. He then moved off of the wall he was leaning on and joined everyone else.

"Ice cream is my favorite." I say with a smile on my face.

"Yeah, that and celery, apples, caramel, burgers, tacos-"

"Shut it, no one asked you." I say to Haechan.

"Just saying, make up your mind for once." He said.

"That doesn't mean you need to-"

"How about you both shut up?"

"Exactly, I swear Jaemin you're a godsend." Said Renjun.

"Yeah, we love you Jaemin!" Shouted Clover.

"Bitch who's we?" Haechan and I say in-sync. I give him a weirded out look. "What, are you copying me on purpose or something now?"

"Okay how would I even do that in the first place??"

"I don't know, you'd figure it out somehow!"

"What am I, a mind reader?"

"I don't know, maybe you are."

"That doesn't even make sense."

"Wait-" I start.

"No, you need to-"

"Donghyuck." I say.

"Don't interrupt me, I-"

"DONGhyuck."

"WHAT." He looks around the now empty booth, finally realizing what I was trying to point out. "Oh." He paused and shuffled around. "So uh.."

"No."

"Oh come on, you didn't even listen to what I was gonna say."

"I don't care." I turn my head to leave, but before I can, I feel a grip on my sleeve.

"Look, I'll drive you home."

"I-"

"I know that if I let you go right now you're going to walk home alone."

I give a look, "Just stop."

"It's late and I'm not an asshole."

"Sure you aren't." And with that I shove his hand off me and walk away.
