30 Days Without An Accident

Things have been doing really well ever since we rescued those people from Wood-berry. We have gardens, animals, water, showers work, and everything else. Things were stable for now. Lots of nice people and people mine and Carl's age.

But I'm not turning my back away from Carl for one second because he is mine. Ain't no one stealing my man. We made up after he killed that boy. We were happy again and that's all that matters.

I have new drawings in my sketch book. I've gotten way better.

People went on a run. Michone came back, bringing back Carl more comics, we both enjoy them, YAY! to more nights staying up and reading them. Along with some hard candy. She got me some cough drops because I love to eat them like candy and actual candy she got us.

An hour or so we heard the kids waving to the walkers and yelling names at them. Carl gave them a speech about how they aren't humans. It was story time for the kids.

Patrick left with them. Patrick is Carl's good friend. He's nerdy and shy around me but he's nice and stuff. Carl went to see what story time was all about.

He came back a couple of minutes later. "So?" I ask.

"I'll tell you tonight." Carl said.

«Bedtime»

It was night time. I put on Carl's shirt as usual, put my hair into a bun, and laid down. "Hey baby?" Carl said walking into the cell.

"Yes?" I answer.

"How much do you love me?" He ask un-buttoning his shirt.

"Why do you ask?" The look on my face should explain that I was clueless.

"I'm just wondering..." He says pulling down his pants, revealing his boxers.

"Well, I love you so much it hurts, can't really be explained, and in this world you are my world, I know it's cheesy but it is true." I said smiling, in return he smiled back while laying down next to me.

"You just explained how much I love you." He said turning onto his side.

"So, are you going to tell me about story time?" I question.

"She brought out knifes and teaching them about it," Carl said. "I mean I'm fine with it but I don't want to lie to my dad."

"Well maybe you shouldn't, I mean when is the appropriate age to teach them these things? I think she is doing the right thing if you ask me." I respond telling my opinion.

"I don't know she said not to tell my dad, I just don't know what to do." Carl said shaking his head.

"I know what your going to do." I smile.

"And what am I going to do?" He says lifting up an eyebrow.

"Your going to kiss me." I say rubbing my hand on his cold, bare skin.

"Am I?" He says sarcastically. I give him a look of disappointment. "I'm kidding baby." His eyes looking into mine, his head move closer, his lips now on my mine, his hands resting on my waist, my arms wrapped around his neck. He pulls away sighing.

"Okay goodnight baby I got to get up early." He says kissing me one last time. I hold him closely until my eyes fill heavy and sleep is upon me.

«Early morning»

I heard an alarm clock go off and the sunlight through my eyelids. "Carl, Carl, come on." Rick whispered.

Carl left a few minutes later. Kissing my forehead. I rub my eyes and yawn before standing up and stretching.

I change into my everyday clothes and see Beth with the baby.

"Good morning." she said smiling.

"Good-" I was cut of by a gunshot and screams. I tell Beth to stay here as I run to cell block D seeing mayhem. The door was locked. They killed the walkers and saved the others.

I rushed back to Beth and Judith. They were fine. I went out to see Carl and Maggie carrying Michone. I hugged him tight. Rick came out and Carl hugged Rick. He told us about what happened and how we should stay away for awhile.

When they brought Michone inside Maggie went back outside and Carl began to make the crosses for the graves or Patrick's grave.

I just want to make sure everyone is safe or all the people I care about. Rick said we need to stay away from Judy for awhile which I was fine with that.
