Author's POV

Mew took a bowl and a small towel to wipe Gulf's sweat. Then proceeded to feed him the soup he brought and then gave him the meds.

After he finished putting the empty food container on the sink he went to the bed and sat there pressing his back on the headboard of the bed. He caressed his head, then his thumb reached to his eyes. He caressed his eyes. He didn't fail to notice the eye bags. He knew something was bothering Gulf and he knew what it was.

He just wanted Gulf to be in a better condition to talk about the heavy matter. He wanted to comfort the Gulf so as not to scare him away. He had to be patient with him and he knew it too well. He didn't think that much about it and laid down beside the latter. He adjusted the comforter and brought it to Gulf's neck so he couldn't feel cold. And placed his hand around him in a secure way and soon after he fell asleep.

Gulf woke up in the middle of the night. He didn't know how many hours he slept. He opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was Mew's face. Sleeping peacefully. Looking all Beautiful and handsome at the same time. A soft smile spread on his lips.

He was about to sit up when he felt something heavy around him. He looked down to see what it was and to his surprise it's Mew's hand. That was around him securely. Like he was protecting him from everything. He couldn't help the feeling of security whenever he was with Mew. He smiled. That was his first smile of that day.

He got up and went to the bathroom. Splashing some water on his face he stared at his reflection on the mirror. Eyes were plump. He was tired of this whole thing being repeated. He was in his thoughts when he heard a knock on the door.

"Gulf? Are you there?" It was mew.

"Yeah! I'll be out in a minute." He replied.

He turned the tap off, wiped his face and left the bathroom. He saw Mew was sitting on the edge of the bed.

"I'm fine P'Mew. You can go back to your room na..." Gulf said as he sat down next to Mew.

"Are you a doctor?" Mew asked and raised his eyebrows at Gulf.

Gulf didn't say anything, he just rolled his eyes and pouted. He heard from his girl classmates gossip that Mew was stubborn but it's his first time to witness it. So he didn't argue farther. So he sat there quietly.

"So what happened?" Mew was the first one to break this silence game.

Gulf didn't say anything he just shook his head as in 'nothing'. Mew lifted his chin so he could face him.

"You know you can tell me anything, right?" He asked. At that question Gulf just nodded.

He took his time to calm his nerves and open up to Mew. He told Mew everything that happened when he met Bright with tears running down his cheeks.

'Just how many times will he have to hurt Gulf like this?'

Mew thought.

Mew knew he needed to be patient with Gulf but he can't. Not anymore. Not after watching him this much vulnerable for an unworthy person like Bright.

Gulf couldn't hold back his tears. He brought his knees to his chest and held them there with both hands and buried his face into his hands. He knew he could be as vulnerable as he wanted in front of Mew. But the rejection even before he could confess was too much.

Mew couldn't find what to do. He was losing his shit there, watching Gulf crying his eyes out. He scooted closer to Gulf and caressed his head before lifting his face. He saw Gulf's face through his blurry vision. He didn't know when his eyes got teary. He held Gulf's face in his palm and wiped his tears from his already red tinted cheeks and Gulf closed his eyes and leaned into his warm touch. His eyes were red and plump again.

"W-will you please stop crying! He is not worth it Gulf. Stop hurting yourself for a trash like him."

Mew leaned closer and put his forehead on Gulf's and continued..

"It's hurting me to see you like this for a person like him who doesn't even have a slightest hint of your feelings. Stop hurting yourself over a piece of shit like him. I'm begging you. It pains me!"

Mew blurs out in one go as his tears also start to roll down to his cheeks.

As Gulf heard his sentence he stared at his face. Saw Mew crying for him. That sight made his heart clenched. He hiccuped and brought his hands to Mew's face and wiped his tears. Then he took a deep breath to calm himself down.

"I told you everything Phi. Now I feel light."

*A small assuring smile spread on his lips*

"I promise I will not cry over this anymore. I'll try and move on from him. I'll try and be happy with all the things that I already have. I'll focus on me from now on. I'll not dwell on those feelings anymore which can't be reciprocated."

Gulf said as he caressed Mew's face.

On the other side Mew nodded as he heard what Gulf said. He caressed Gulf's soft cheeks as well as he said...

"Good! I'll always be right there with you in every step you'll take towards your happiness. You'll always have me beside you. You'll always find me right beside you whenever you need someone to talk to about anything and everything."

Gulf gave him a warm smile. He knew he'll always have his P'Mew by his side. As pulled his left hand from Mew's face and placed it on Mew's right hand on his cheek and nuzzled into it more. Earning a chuckle from Mew.

After they both calmed down from their emotional state, Gulf was a little hungry. Mew also didn't eat his dinner. So they both went to a small street restaurant for a light dinner. They both were lucky to find the restaurant open as it's still midnight. If it's past midnight they both have to go to bed with empty stomachs. They both had their dinner while chatting.

As they were walking towards their dorm after their dinner Gulf couldn't help but to ask....

"Phi?"

"Hmm?" Mew looked at him.

"Umm... earlier you said it hurts you to see me crying. What do you mean by that???"

Gulf asked, fidgeting his fingers.

It's not like Gulf entirely didn't know what that was supposed to mean. But he could be wrong.

Mew knew sooner or later he had to tell him all of those things that he was suppressing for 3years. But now was not the right time.

"Now is not the right time Gulf. I don't want to force anything on you. I want you to focus on you first." Mew said.

Gulf looked at him with pouting lips, because he's not gonna get his answer. Not yet. Mew chuckled at that.

"Don't worry I'll definitely tell you when the time will be right. Okay?"

He said as he pinched the younger's nose making Gulf smile as he nodded.

They reached their dorm. They both wished each other good nights and went to their respective rooms. As the next day was Saturday they both could be able to get much needed rest.

With the thought of a new day coming they both drifted off to sleep.
