[ PLAY: i luv him. by Catie Turner ]"Finally! I had been waiting for years. I swear I was dead already." Hallie, with her famous sarcasm, greets me as she stood properly from leaning over at the front of her car. I roll my eyes as I make my way over to the passenger seat. I jump in, with Hallie mimicking my moves and starts her car and pull out of my street.
"I slept through my alarm. I swear, I fucking hate school." I mumble as I fasten my seatbelt and lean my head over the window. I'm really not in the mood to be surrounded by a bunch of kids right now but it seems like I have no choice.
Hallie snickers, "Yeah, your straight A's disagrees." She says as she makes a turn to enter the street that leads to our campus.
I don't usually ride with Hallie, it's just that today my car broke down and Daniel brought it over to some mechanical shop, which leaves me to having no ride at all. I would have asked Harry if I could ride with him but I knew he already left and today is a busy day for him. I wouldn't want to intrude with his busy schedule.
Harry had become a leader of a band called The Crisp. I always laugh whenever I hear it. It's just so funny how they came up with a band name like that. It's a slang that goes around the world where it means cool, awesome or something and because he thinks his band is so cool, he named after it. Harry is the main vocalist of the band, while his other mates, Niall who takes care of the acoustic guitar, Liam with the drums and Louis with the keys. I also heard he was having another friend from another town joining his band today for bass. He loves his band so much and would love to continue it even after high school. I mean, they make pretty sick songs and everyone here in Chesire knows about them, so I guess the chance is pretty high.
Even before with the band, Harry would always play with his guitar and give me a little concert with the covers and some original songs he wrote. I've always love how beautiful he sang and the vibrations I feel from his voice every time it becomes a melody.
"What are you smiling about?" Hallie asks, interrupting my thoughts and I quickly felt my cheeks heat as I shake my head, sitting up and looking out into the window.
"Nothing. I thought you were ugly." I tell her and I hear gasp before I felt a smack on my thigh yelping an 'ouch' at her as I rub my sore thigh.
"Shut the fuck up Dee. At least this ugly face has a girlfriend." She smirks at me and I roll my eyes at her just in time as we pull up into the parking lot of the campus.
It took about a minute before we found an empty lot and took advantage of it. We got out of the car at the same time and I could already see the people crowding some cars, probably catching up from yesterday's events. Hallie and I walk up to the entrance of the building, waving at some people I recognize as I pass along the hallway.
Hallie and I met last year. She was a transferee from America. Her mom died so she had to live with her father here in England. She told me she was very anxious when she first came here having to live her whole life in America to be just sent away here in Holmes Chapel.
But now she feels so much better and at ease knowing she has made a lot of friends and a girlfriend on her time. Lucky bitch.
We stop at our lockers to get some books for the upcoming classes we have before making our way to our first subject today. Math. Just fucking great.
