Rooms Part 2

I woke up once again, and I soon realized Entrapta was the one who was shaking me awake.

"Y/N! Good morning! Come on, I'm going to show you your room now! Hordak woke up before you so he's already in his room. Come on!" Entrapta exclaimed, pulling me out of her bed by my arm. I smiled at her and stood up, rubbing away the sleep from my eyes with my free arm. I let Entrapta drag me out of her room with my hand in hers. She had a surprisingly strong grip.

The small scientist looked back at me. Why did she keep looking at me like that? She just burst into a giggle fit while she led me to a door. Entrapta let go of my hand. "This is the code to get into the room," she told me, showing me the combination before opening the door.

The room was the same size as Entrapta's. There was a twin sized bed with pillows and a comforter that looked similar to hers. The rest of the room was mostly empty. There was a nightstand next to the bed and a desk, smaller than Entrapta's. There were two doors next to each other. Entrapta walked in and I followed. She led me to the closest door. "In here is the bathroom," she informed me, opening the door slightly to show me, "And then this other door is the closet. There should be some clothes in there for you. If you need more we can always go to Brightmoon and get your clothes. We need to go back there anyways. I have stuff in my lab there that I want. And Emily. And Wrong Hordak. And I'm sure that Hordak will want Imp back with him. Gosh, we're going to have a whole family here in Dryl!" Entrapta clasped her hands together and smiled at me. Only for a moment, though. Her smile faded a bit. "I'm sure Emily is safe with Scorpia, but I just have to go back for her. Same with Wrong Hordak," she paused, taking a deep breath and looking down before continuing, "I don't really want to go back and see them again. Of course they're my friends but... I don't know. They aren't always the nicest. They never really treated me right. I've realized that now. Scorpia was always nice, though. And Adora. I just feel like they only want me around when I'm useful." I studied her. A tendril of hair reached up to flip her mask down, but I grabbed her hand in mine.

She whipped her head back up to look at me. "It doesn't matter what they say or think. They aren't here. They might be your friends, but they aren't your family! Remember? Your family in Dryl?" I spoke to her softly, rubbing my thumb on the back of her hand. For once she was speechless. Entrapta opened her mouth to speak but no words came out. "We will always be here for you, Entrapta. Don't worry about the princesses. I'll come with you to Brightmoon to get whatever you need and then we don't have to go back ever again, okay? It's going to be alright," I reached out to hug her when I was finished. She just stared at me, silent. When she didn't move I grabbed her gently and pulled her into my arms. I felt her body relax.

"I don't usually like hugs but I really like your hugs," Entrapta finally whispered. I squeezed her tighter in the hug and she rested her head on my shoulder. We stood like this for a while until she pulled away.

"Thank you, Y/N."

"Anytime. Ya know, you can always come to me if you need to talk about anything. Or just if you need a hug. I'm always up for a good hug," I smiled at her. She tried her best to return the smile despite the tears welling up in her eyes.

"Awh, don't cry!" I reached a hand out to wipe a small tear away. "I'm sorry," she said, wiping a tear away herself, "No one has ever been this nice to me."

"Well, I'm going to make sure that no one is ever mean to you again. Now, come on, I know I just woke up but would you want to take another nap with me?" I asked. She hesitated, but after a moment she nodded.
