Behind the daunting, ivory covered gates lay the Lee family Mansion. It's location, In the middle of nowhere, surrounded by land covered in trees and fields. A simple plaque situated in front of the gate informed passer-by who the estate belonged to, not that anyone would pass by.

It housed a mere amount of 3 people, nowhere near its capacity.

Inside the house though, shit was going down.

"No one told me this thing was programmed to kill me" a young man seethed as he climbed over fallen pillars and ran over dust covered floors. He was running away from a mechanical robot which was decorated in weapons.

The man's name was Lee Taeyong, son of the famed archaeologist, Lee Seomin.

Taeyong was raised by his parent's employees, mainly the household staff, ever since his father had gone missing on an expedition in 2003. He had been presumed dead and had been buried in the estate garden without a body. As for Taeyong's mother, she had been out of the picture ever since he had been born. It had been too much for her to handle.

So...she had just packed up her things and left.

Nonetheless, Taeyong had received the highest quality education and had still been able to keep the family mansion.

Now in present day, most of the employees had moved out. Leaving Taeyong alone with his personal butler, who was more of a close friend as opposed to a butler, Kim Doyoung. And another friend who was more of tech genius, Mark Lee. Both helped Taeyong plan his expeditions, visiting tombs from all around the world...

And robbing them.

After all he is a tomb raider and a notoriously good one at that.

Rooms around the house were littered with artefacts from every corner of the world. Some of them dating back way over centuries ago. Objects from stories so deranged and otherworldly that one could only presume was a myth were located in this large mansion. Collected by generations but all kept in the same place.

So, you're probably wondering why this prestigious tomb raider was running away from an armed machine, well you see. Life is a competition and raiding tombs are not an exception. You never know when someone was just going to pop out of nowhere and snatch the object right out of your hand.

Henceforth, Mark had created a robot that Taeyong could train with.

But he had not told Taeyong about the added weapons he had equipped the robot with.

"THIS BITCH HAS LAZORS!" Taeyong shrieked while diving behind an intricately carved stone table.

"Time to bring out the guns...literally" Taeyong said to himself while reaching to his utility belt and grabbing the two pistols and loading them with one simple hand movement.

He counted down in his head

Before he forward rolled out from behind the table and started shooting.

One bullet hit the robot eye, obscuring its vision.

With that as a distraction, Taeyong was able to jump on top of the table, then onto the tilted column next to it. Before running down that and weaving his way through the pillars. Making it harder for the robot to aim accurately once it had composed itself.

He was almost there. Now all he had to do was reach for that vine up ahead and swing across onto the podium where the artefact was situated.

He jumped. Wrapping his hands around the vine and enforcing his grip as he swung through the air before then letting go.
