A/N: this takes place after the current third years graduated, so in Tsukishima and Yachi's second year.
Also do students have lockers in Japan or is that just an American thing? For the sake of this one-shot I'm just going to pretend they do.
Also forgive my poor attempt at writing a love letter T-T

This is so cringy- I'm sorry-

Tsukishima opened his locker in the hallways to grab his math and Japanese book, since those were the last two classes of the day. As the door swung open, however, a folded paper fluttered to the ground. Tsukishima lent down to the floor to get a better view of the paper.

"♡𝓽𝘴ꪊ𝘬𝓲𝘴ꫝ𝓲ꪑꪖ-𝘴ꪖꪀ♡︎" ("Tsukishima-San", for anyone who can't read the font)

Was what was written on the top of the what seemed to be a letter.

'Great, another love letter' Tsuki thought to himself. This wasn't new to him at all, many girls and even boys would try confessing to him through these letters. Tadashi had already complained seven times in the past two days about how many people told him to give Tsukishima their love letter for them.

He rolled his eyes and picked the piece of paper up, he then got his books out and closed his locker. Tsuki then proceeded to shove the note in his pocket. He was about to throw it away in a nearby trash can when Tsukishima had remembered something about the letter. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the piece of paper, and staring at his name written upon it.

"♡𝓽𝘴ꪊ𝘬𝓲𝘴ꫝ𝓲ꪑꪖ-𝘴ꪖꪀ♡︎" ("Tsukishima-San", for anyone who can't read the font)

Tsukishima's eyes immediately went wide, he recognized the nickname and handwriting very well. So well that he knew exactly who wrote the letter by just looking at it. The person who wrote this note was in fact, Tsukishima Kei's crush since the middle of their first year.....

Yachi Hitoka.

He carefully snuck through the hundreds of students out in the halls to get to the rooftop, where he knew nobody would be since it was closed off to students and staff.

After what seemed like years of shoving past 1st and 2nd years, he finally made it to the staircase that lead to the roof. He quickly shuffled up the stars to face the light blue doors. Tsukishima noticed the lock on the door, and pulled out a bobby-pin that he carry's around just in case. He had read something on how to pick locks a while back, and thankfully tsukishima remembered what it said. Soon, a faint *click* could be heard, indicating the door had been unlocked.

Tsukishima quietly opened the door to reveal the empty rooftop of Karasuno high school. There were benches and tables all around, because students used to be able to come up here to eat their lunch. He sat down on a bench that was pretty far away from the door. He looked out into the mountains, and even he couldn't deny it, the view of the town was beautiful here.

Tsukishima sighed to himself and took out the letter. He then started to read it, getting more nervous by the second.
