I started at the door that was lined with a light glowing between the door and the dark hallway. I know that when i go into here the Koopalings will out probably number me and my coworkers and they could easily overwhelm us if we try something, then again we're not really working for Fawful anymore. Suddenly the light of the room shined onto me like I was on stage as Lemmy opened the door "oh hi Kaley!" Dieter said as he was in the middle of talking with Ludwig about sleeping plans "I heard from Ludwig that you found a bed room" he asked "yeah, what about it?" "We're going over how many rooms there are so we figure out who shares a room and who get their own" I nod before joining Iggy, Lemmy, and Junior "where's Morton and Wendy?" I asked, knowing that Beef and Larry were in the kitchen making dinner and Roy was still at the wheel. "Their on the deck, they wanted to go star gaze so I'm letting them have some alone time" "what!? I wanted to go star gazing too!" Junior yelled who was soon joined Lemmy, and Iggy. Ludwig gave a big sigh before looking at Dieter "since this is a meeting and not everyone is here at the time, we can probably discuss the matter at dinner time" Ludwig pouts before agreeing "yay!" Junior said before grabbing Ludwig and pulling him outside.
We all gathered at the desk. It was extremely dark outside and barely any light was around "careful" Ludwig whispered as if he was in a movie theater. I turned to my left to see Roy and Dieter climb up to higher levels of the desk to get a better look. Since everyone was looking up, I decided to join them and soon I was wrapped into a night sky I haven't seen since I was a kid. "Kaley over here!" Junior said waving me over. I fly over to see what Junior wanted to say to me "you can join us if you want?" Ludwig asked as Junior patted the floor "we don't mind" I nod and casually sit down before looking up at the stars again.
"Junior, can you tell me what's different between here and the castle?" Ludwig asked "umm...well, we're in the middle of the ocean" yes, but outside of that, what's different?" "There's less lights?" "That's right, and because there are are so little lights here, there is less lights pollution in the area" Ludwig explain "and because there's less pollution in the air, more stars are visible. Hey Kaley, can you name a place where there's less light pollution?" I almost gagged "uh... a small village close to the woods off the coast of the pinkish land" I mumbled. I knew if Dieter knew I was talking about the pinkish kingdom, the Koopa kingdom would get involved and all hell with break lose. "You keep asking about this pinkish kingdom" Junior asks. I feel regret for say that "can we go there when we're done?" "I-I...I don't think so..." I said trying to keep a low profile "why so, is the land you peak of in a very closed off kingdom?" Ludwig asked. I could sense his worried expression "I shouldn't be the one answering that" I said "it's not my place to meddle in political affairs" Ludwig sat up to look at me "but everyone has rights to speak their opinion, is it not allowed to say anything about this matter in your kingdom?" Ludwig asked, his dark blue eyes shining in the night.
"No. We're allowed to talk about our opinion in the kingdom but Queen Elizabeth, wishes to be left out of your kingdom's affairs, baron of Darkland." I look up to see Dieter glaring at us from his placement above us "and Kaley, I know you want to talk about your village, but please do not encourages them into walking onto our home land" "hypocrite" I said "you know very well half of the land was invaded" Dieter coughed "forget I said that. I know it's bothersome but please know the kingdom is paranoid and that entering into their land will freak them out...besides, border patrol wouldn't even let you in unless it's for political purposes..." he mumbled before going back to gazing at the stars. Soon Larry appeared out the door "hey it's dinner time! We're having soup!" We all got up and quickly went to the dining room since we were striving.
