Old yellow bricks, love's a risk

Quite the little escapologist

Looked so miffed when you wished

For a thousand places better than this

You are the fugitive but you don't know what you're running from

You can't kid us and you couldn't trick anyone

Houdini, love, you don't know what you're running away from

Old Yellow Bricks by Artic Monkeys

The feeling of emptiness. It was always there after a shag. Sirius concluded that, as he laid awake on Amycus' bed. It was nearly 8 o' clock. Luckily it was Saturday. Sirius sat up rubbing his head. He didn't drink anymore, but staying up late always made him worse in the mornings. Sirius was concentrating on finding his shoes.

There they were. At the end of the bed.

His clothes. Oh, there on the floor, by that puffed pink chair.

Sirius was making a great job. That's what his therapist had told him.

"Concentrate on one thing at a time"

That's what I'm trying Poppy.

Sirius felt a pair of arms wrapping him up, feeling his naked torso. And lips kissing his neck. Sirius sighed.

"I think we should stop this"

Amycus laughed "Stop what babe? Having another go?"

Sirius was tired of explaining, but he had to try.

"All of this Am, all of this"

"I don't understand Black" Amycus sounded angry.

Sirius turned to look at him. Amycus was gorgeous. Mr. Carrow had married one of the most beautiful Indian women, Sirius had seen. And their children got their mum's beauty. Dark skin, long eyelashes, big brown eyes. It was what it first attracked Sirius in the first place. And it was easy, their families were close. But that was it.

"My therapist..."

"She banned you from having sex?"

"It makes me feel bad afterwards"

"Am I that bad?" Amycus smiled

Sirius unconsciously laughed.

"Not at all"

"Then what is it?"

Amycus brought Sirius such energy and desire. They had done stupid things together, like getting drunk, high, vandalize places. It just got Sirius into a very high place but there, it was so easy to fall. He was trying. Sirius was trying so hard for that not to happen. He needed to be different. Especially miles away from his mother. But how could Sirius explain that to Amycus?

"I just don't feel like it"

Amycus was in love with Sirius Black. Sirius knew it. All of their friends knew it. But Sirius wasn't in love with him. He never was. The only difference was that now he cared about Amycus' feelings.

"I got grumpy Sirius this morning, apparently" Amycus said as he got off bed "I hate grumpy Sirius. I like happy Sirius. Where did he go?"

"That's not me" Sirius whispered mostly to himself

Amycus just looked at him smiling, biting his lip.

"Get some coffee babe. You'll feel better"

"I wasn't joking Carrow!"
