It was the first time that Remus got his heart broken. Remus had been through horrible things before, painful ones, but now Remus concluded this was the worse. Or it felt like it. Remus knew at the beginning of the day that things would break apart, but never like this. And Remus didn't know it would hurt this much.

He fell in love with Sirius and now it was all over.

Remus had locked himself in a public restroom and he had cried, everything he needed to cry. And then, Remus walked home to the only person who would understand him right now. Fen.

But at the same time he didn't want Fen to tell him "I told you so". Remus didn't want to cry again in front of Fenrir or look weak.

As Remus finally entered the building, he heard screaming coming from upstairs.

"Thank God , you're here" a voice suddenly said

Remus turned around to see an old lady. Remus recognized her as Mrs. Figg. Fen's neighbour. Fen always called her a noisy bitch, but Remus didn't mind her. Except that everytime Mrs. Figg asked Remus to help her with something.

Now she was checking her mailbox.

Not right now, noisy bitch. I'm not in the mood.

"Mrs. Figg?" Remus said

"They're fighting, you know?" she said "Your friend and his girl. You'd better make them shut up or I won't be able to sleep tonight"

Emmeline. Em was back. And fuck they were fighting.

Remus ignored Mrs. Figg and ran up the stairs.

"FOR THE FIRST TIME I AM TAKING CARE OF MYSELF, FENRIR... I'M NOT GONNA GO BACK JUST BECAUSE YOU DRINK YOURSELF TO DEATH"

"STOP THE NONSENSE, EM. WE ALL KNOW WHAT THIS IS ABOUT, YOU WANNA GO FUCK OTHER BOYS, DON'T YA? YOU GOT TIRED OF ME..."

"AND ALCOHOL IS MAKING YOU SAY BLOODY STUPID THINGS"

Remus came in. None of them noticed that someone had joined them. The place looked the same as when Remus came earlier. But even more empty bottles were on the floor. Fen was red, which usually happened when he was drunk. Em was in front of him, still wearing her coat.

"Just admit it princess" Fen said in a drunk voice "You like when blokes look at ya, look at the way you dress..."

Fen tried to open Em's coat but she didn't let him. Fen laughed.

"You're a lil slut... You've always been..."

BUM. Emmeline slapped him across the face.

Fen got furious. He walked towards her.

"YOU DARE TOUCH ME YOU LITTLE..."

But before Fenrir could do anything, Remus placed himself in front of Emmeline.
