Aether looks around Liyue until he gives up and decided that the library in Monstade will probably be the best dating spot. Though he did get a bouquet of silk flowers and some perfume that is for refined taste since Xingqui is technically a nobleman. "What you think Paimon?" Aether asked as they look for a gift at the Liyue book store to give to Xingqui.
"Hmm. It's very interesting, but the appeal is lost on Paimon." Paimon sighed.
"Can I have these books wrapped please." Aether smiled at the lady.
"Oh are they gift? Interesting. You have a vibe that screams your on the prowl. Who's the lucky girl?" The receptionist laughed.
"Uhhh." Aether starts turning red as he puts the present inside his bag.
"No you'll embarrassed him!" Paimon cried and sees Xingqui on the way to check out the book store as he normal does, "Aether! It's Xingqui! Just in time! Let's go say hi!" Paimon chimed.
Aether took a deep breath and nodded as he walked over to the boy looking at all the books with sparkly golden eyes.
"Hey Xingqui. Uh do have a minute to spare. I'd like to go somewhere with you." Aether explains trying to act causal.
"Breath Aether! Breath!" Paimon whispered worriedly.
"Sure Im free. Where are we going?" Xingqui smiled at the travel.
"It's a surprise." Aether explains trying to stay confident.
"Hmm? Well okay. I'm sure it'll be a lovely spot. When I'm with you I've found so many amazing new reading spots and I can practice my skills so they don't dull on the monsters that plague these lands. Plus, my family seems to worry less about me with Liyue's hero at my side." Xingqui smiled.
"I'm glad you're enjoying yourself." Aether smiled and heads to Monstade with Xingqui.
As they pass under the stone bridge Xingqui asked Aether a question, "Hmmm are you wearing perfume? It's not bad. Are you trying to be fancy?" Xingqui asked curiously.
"Seems the perfume was a miss, but don't worry you got this!" Paimon whispered.
"Uh. Well... I just thought... uh..." Aether looks lost for words.
"A friend of ours wanted us to test the perfume in Liyue and see how well it works." Paimon quickly lied.
"Oh I see. Let's see this type of perfume... Is for refined tastes. A lot of noble women wear it hoping to attract a single noble male. It's sadly lost it's touch for me since I'm around the smell so much." Xingqui explains.
"Oh we should of thought of that! Of course perfume that people are around a lot won't work on them!" Paimon makes a fist and hits her palm frowning.
"It's still not bad. All of the perfume in Liyue in my opinion smells wonderful. You wear it good. I'm sure you'll attract lots of attention." Xingqui explains softly.
"We don't want your pity! It's an experiment for our friend who's looking for love!" Paimon stomps her feet in anger.
"Well than I wish your friend good luck with their pursuit." Xingqui chuckled.
They arrive in the city walls of Monstade and Xingqui asked another question, "Hey. Traveler do you think I can be paired up with my friend Chongyun? Your the only one who doesn't care about our social status and let's us hang out." Xingqui explains.
"Of course!" Aether smiled and they headed into the library with Xingqui, "Xingqui welcome to Monstade's library." Aether beamed.
"Oh wow! This place is huge!" Xingqui looks around excitedly, "I'm surprised by the quantity of books in here!" He immediately starts looking around.
