The next step is to get these damned handcuffs off. I look around the room once more to see if there are any useful objects. All i see is the lamp, cage, and the metal bars that came off.

Not seeing anything useful i get up, satisfied i can do even that. I walk to where the door must be and try to open it. But it seems seemless and i can get a good grip. Welp. Im not going anywhere for a while.

Wait. The metal bars from the cage might work a crowbars! With my new hypothesis, i grab a metal bar from the floor and wedge it into the tiny crack.

I push on it as i let my body fall against it. Then the room fills with the sound of creeking as the door slowy opens. I grab the part of the door thats sticking out as i pull to open it the rest of the way. I look into the new found hallway. I scan it to see if i can escape. A lamp sits on a small table to the left and there is another door at the end of the hallway. I walk towards the door but stop everytime i hear the now familiar footsteps from above.

I reach the door and find this one actually has a handle. I open the door and see a staircase that least to what looks like the upstairs part of this building. Right as  I'm about to take my first step, heavy footsteps stomp down the stairway.

A/N  sorry i have had writers block for a while and also had a lazy streak. I couldnt think of anything to write next. Welp. Now i have.
