The train was almost screeching itself to a halt as I inhale the city's air with a lazy stretch!

This city has a special meaning to me!
Though born and raised in interior Tamilnadu, the city of Coimbatore holds a special place in my heart, it gave me my first college degree as an engineer and my first IT job too!

Lots of memories twirled around as I look around the train station.

The weather hasn't been bad since I landed in India, either!

It's peak summer here in India, but has been a pretty pleasant ride so far, very comparable to the sunny California that I have been calling home for the past couple years.

Having a masters in computer science from IIT Madras, my job prospects took me to the US.
I am comfortably placed there.
Being tall, well built and fairly good looking myself, was looking for a pleasant looking, well educated, well mannered, with a good upbringing, pleasant to converse with, an intelligent girl as my life partner.
With no interest in the dating game, I had asked my mother to look for a bride for me as soon as my brother got married last spring.

It has been an interesting experience looking for my bride.
I am not really enjoying the process, but I have to go through it as that is the norm!

The previous meetings with the prospective brides didn't turn out to be quite successful though I had been secretly rooting for Radhika, after seeing her pictures!

If Radhika were to say YES to me, my proposal, I can't wait to wed her and take her back with me and immerse her in the little world that I have built in Central Valley, California and build a love nest with her there!

But first she ought to say YES!
I hope she does!

Today somehow, I wanted to be here by myself!

I wish I had convinced my mom and Raji to have not joined me on this trip!
But wonder, if they would have let me come on my own to see my to-be bride!

I loved her pictures.
Both — the one in the purple saree that mom had sent me to the US and the other in an off white Salwar kameez that was shown to me upon landing in India!

What jumped at me, and enamored and appealed to me the most at first sight was her smile!
What a gorgeous smile she has, showing off her pearly whites matching her twinkling brown eyes.
