"Crap!" Brad shouted as he saw the Mole. Emma had already taken out a battle axe and Silica had her bow out. I brought my sword out and readied for attack. Brad took out a scythe, which I hope would be useful against this thing. It was a yard or two away. I felt the sweat on my hand threat to make my sword slip out of my hands. When it was close enough so we can see it properly we charged or shot in Silica's case. The arrow Silica shot hit it in the eye and the rest of us managed to get a leg or its tail. The thing was so weird, it has the star nose of a mole, the black eyes even the tail. All exact. It even screeched like an animal. It than evaporated as I saw Brad with his Scythe where the beast's head use to be.
"Get ca-knifed!" he said laughing. I couldn't help but laugh too. On the gaming box we would play a shooter game and whenever we stabbed someone we said that. I turned to see Silica and Emma looking confused but smiling. I got up and sighed with relief, "Its over now..."
"Yeah...what was that thing?" Emma asked, her smile gone.
"Lets call it The Mole." Silica said and everyone nodded. That seemed to be the terror that this level gave us. Closed in space with giant moles. Life is always exciting. We all plopped down onto the ground, exhausted. After a few minutes we head into the village to rest properly. When we got into the house I knew it was time to ask about the cheating, "How do you guys know how to cheat?"
Brad and Emma looked at each other with a silent conversation going between their eyes. Brad turned to me, "Xarnia didn't expect anyone to attempt cheating. So we decided to use our phones with the programming app to cheat in shortcuts and supplies. Sadly though, it looks like they started putting up fire walls, making it harder for us to cheat."
I nodded and replied, "So have you two seen the others?"
Emma shake her head, "Only you two." Brad nodded in agreement. I sighed again and decided to ask one last question, "How did you guys know the door was above ground?"
