We all stared at each other. We didn't know what to say so we just stood there. Silica grabbed my arm and I breathed heavily. We found them, and they didn't look so good. Brad was wearing his glasses, missing a lens. His black hair a curly mess and his shirt has a few ripped spots. Emma had her right shoulder exposed. Her blonde hair chopped short instead of its long length. They looked like they have been through something worse than hell. They have been through Xarnia itself.
"Are you a burn?" Brad asks with hope in his eyes.
I can't help but laugh, "So far the only burns I have seen are on level two!" Silica and I run to them and hug them tightly. They hug back and I feel the breeze of air. How the hell do you feel air underground? I pulled back to see Brad and Emma all patched up. What the hell?! They were terrible looking a second ago. The wind hits my back and I turn to see a hole in the roof of the tunnels visible. I hear Brad saying something I never thought I would, "We are cheaters in Xarnia Kai. We rule this world basically."
