Emma and Brad stared at Silica and me. Something was up. We never told them about what we learned from Jacob and Zac, especially about the doors. They were hiding something. What were they hiding though...
"The door is up there?!" Brad asks in a tone of complete surprise. Silica and I nodded.
"That can't be..." Emma said looking down, "There's only rock and sun up there..."
I looked at them. They were telling the truth yet holding back something. I think of Jack and Melody, the poor kids who died. I don't want my friends to join them, "Please tell me everything you guys know."
Emma and Brad glance at each other and nod. They look back at me with a grim expression.
"What we saw up there..." Brad said holding back something in him, "Was complete rocks. It was what we saw at the sun..."
I waited for him to continue and he did, "The sun had a count down timer. When it reaches zero the level collapses."
Silica's eyes widened, "So we die if we don't find the doors in time?!"
Emma and Brad nod. I just stood there. The creators of this game just added a new level of intensity to the game. And I....I....like it. I felt a grin appear on my face as I stated two words that made me seem stupid and brave, "Let's roll!"
