Janitor's POV

Emily happily went on my hands and I put her beside me on my bed I turned my head at her and Pat her head with my finger "so what was your nightmare about?" I asked
"I had a nightmare that I was in this school and this teacher along with some dolls that were my size were chasing me I kept running until I tripped and they got me...." Emily said she sounded like she was about to cry "don't worry sweetie as long as dad's here no one's going to hurt you" I said I hated saying that cause I knew what I had to do but maybe I could asked the chefs if I could keep a few... I'd have to ask them later they were probably already asleep and waking David up from his sleep wasn't a very good idea. "You promise?" Emily asked I felt awful I could just hide her she'd be like my little daughter my little baby I nod "of course you'll always be safe when I'm here" I said smiling I honestly thought I might be scaring her with my admittedly creepy smile but to my surprise a felt her hug my finger. I felt my heart melt I always wondered if acted nice to these kids would ever pay off putting my time and trying to give each and everyone my attention and I finally got my answer it was so worth it "hehe..so you ready to go back to sleep sweetie?" I asked
"Nope! Can I sleep here so I can be sure I'll be safe?" Emily asked
I sigh letting out a small chuckle "hehe sure" I said I felt her let go of my finger "Okie dokie! I have to go get mr cuddles though I'll be right back!" I smile guessing Mr cuddles was her little stuffed bear I made her I heard her run off and come back climbing onto the bed I laid down and and she laid beside me I gently hugged her then I felt her turn to face me
"Daddy? Can you sing me a song?" Emily asked
