Chapter 6 (Meredith) (Derek)

POV: It is Friday morning.

(Meredith)
Today Meredith woke up by her mother's voice
-"Meredith! Meredith" Ellis yelled from the kitchen
Meredith immediately got up from her bed. She felt a little dizzy at first but the she felt fine and continued her way to the kitchen.
-"What?" Meredith asked while scratching her head
-"Today you have to come to the hospital after school" Ellis replied
-"I can't, I have a lesson" she said and turned around to leave
-"But you have to, everyone will bring their children"
-"I can't cancel the lesson mom, and I don't think anyone will even notice I'm missing"
-"I know I forced you to have lessons but are you sure you can't come?"

Meredith paused. She wasn't used of her mother beging her to go somewhere with her. Meredith was a disappointment for Ellis since the day she was born. She was a mistake Ellis made and couldn't handle. Why would she want her to come so much? And when she was about to give up the party and tell her yes, the thought of canceling the lesson made her sad. She wanted to have the lesson because she was writing a test in exactly one week and she had to study, but mostly because she wanted to see Derek. She wanted to spend time with him and she couldn't understand why. She convinced herself that she didn't like him. She forced herself to do so. Because right or wrong it was difficult to not like Derek.

-"so are you coming?" Ellis asked with the purse in her hand ready to leave
-"no sorry I can't"
-"but why, everyone will be there, you can't be the only one missing" Ellis yelled
-"because I have a biology test and I need today's lesson"
-"Test?"
Meredith never told Ellis about biology's or chemistry's tests because she never did good. She did a mistake telling her because now she would have to tell her grade to Ellis, but she wouldn't leave her alone if she didn't tell.
-"then have the lesson, you need it, you reaaally need it" She said and walked towards the door "don't disappoint me on this" she said and closed the door behind her.
By now, time had passed and Meredith ran upstairs to get ready for school.

-"so what are you gonna wear tonight?" Izzie asked Mer and Cristina
-"probably jeans and a top" Cristina said
-"I was thinking about the tight skirt you bought me for my birthday" Meredith said referring to Izzie
-"I'm gonna wear my red dress" Izzie
-"not the red, wear the black, it suits you better" said Meredith
...
Izzie and Meredith continued talking about clothes while Cristina was texting Jacob.

The day passed really slow, it was boring and hot. Meredith thought about going home, she wanted to take a bath because she was sweaty and she didn't wanna smell bad. So she went to the secretary, told she wasn't feeling good and left.
It was nice to be home early and have time to get ready. She usually got home and after 5 minutes Derek showed up. But now she had an hour to do whatever she wanted.

She entered the house, threw her bag next to her desk, took off her clothes and made a bath with hot water and soap. She walked in, sat down with her back touching the bathtub and relaxed. She thought "I'll close my eyes for five minutes" but unfortunately the five minutes became 40min. She suddenly woke up inside the now cold water and got out immediately. She went to her room and was about to take her towel off when the door bell rang. She panicked and didn't know what to do.

(Derek)
Derek never waited more than 10 second for the door to open. He was now waiting 1 whole minute. It was weird because he could see the light in Merediths room on. He was about to push the bell button when he heard a familiar voice calling his name. "Mr. Shepherd" he heard. He looked up and saw Merediths head outside the window "give me 2 minutes please" she said and continued getting dressed.
Suddenly Derek heard his phone ringing
-"Hey Derek, do you want to come over after your lesson?"
-"Sorry can't, I have to study today"
-"come on man, enough with studying-"
Meredith opened the door and smiled at him
-"sorry I can't" he said quickly and hang up
-"Hi sorry I made you wait" Meredith said shyly and smiled
-"no worries" he smiled back

He noticed her hair was wet but didn't want to ask why. It was weird cause he knew she was coming right back from school.
-"how are you doing today?" he asked as they walked towards her room
-"Umm fine, kinda tired...you know the end of the week" she said
-"yeah I know" he replied while smiling
-"also you can call me Derek" he murmured
-"Sorry, what?" She asked because she didn't hear him
-"I said I prefer you calling me Derek, not Mr.Shepherd" he explained
-"I am used to call my teachers by their last names.. I'm sorry" she laughed and looked at the floor
-"yeah but I'm only 22..and you are 18, you make me feel old" he joked
-"okay then" she laughed
Derek smiled "shall we start?" Meredith nodded and they started their lesson.

After 15 minutes he stoped talking and stood up.
-"it's really hot in here" he said and tried to take of his hoodie. By that, his shirt lifted to his ribs and Meredith could see his belly and his v-line as his jeans was
low-rise.

Derek sat down looked at her and smiled. She smiled back and then he leaned closer to her. He closed his eyes and then he kissed her.
