Y/n walked through the hallway while pushing the cart to Prince Kairi's room. She knocked and the door opened. She saw him standing on his balcony. She proceeded and placed the foods on the table.
He walked in and she bowed. "Good morning Ka- i mean prince Kairi." She widened her eyes once she realize that one of his knight are standing by the door, listening.
"Goodmorning too." Kairi said sweetly while smiling at her. The morning sun made his features stand out making her cheeks go red.
She stood there in silence, waiting for him to finish. "Um Marcus? Can you leave us for a moment?" Kairi asked the knight. Marcus hesitated before leaving but they both know he's still listening to them. "Meet me at the balcony before midnight." Kairi said on her ear.
She gave him a questioning look. "I like talking to you." He smiled slightly after saying that. "Ok Pri- Kairi." She smiled shyly.
He finished his breakfast and she walked out of the room, seeing Marcus giving her a suspicious look. He's actually gay but is forced to serve for the prince as a knight. "We just talked dont worry." Y/n giggled.
"I hope so." Marcus jokingly rolled his eyes before walking in back inside the room. She headed straight to the kitchen and saw Mattia for the first time in that morning. "Oh hi. Are you ok?" She noticed that his eyes are swollen.
"Yeah. Just read a sad novel last night." He faked chuckled. "You have time to read?" She scoffed jokingly. "Mattia! The steak!" Giacomo shouted making Mattia run back to the steak he's cooking. "Oh my lord. Thank god it didn't burn."
...
It's midnight and Y/n is waking down the dark corridor full of big portraits. She reached the balcony and saw Kairi standing there, staring at something. She cleared her throat, letting her presence known.
"Oh hi y/n." Kairi said as he turned around to face her. "Hi Kairi." She smiled shyly. "Sorry for bothering you tonight but i wanted to go somewhere with you." He said looking at her hopefully. "Where?" She asked.
"Just follow me." He held her hand and she felt like floating. Butterflies in her stomach were flapping their wings agressively. They walked down the stairs she's forbidden not to walk through since she's just a servant.
"Dont worry its ok for you to walk here." Kairi beamed at her while they walk down big staircase. It felt wonderful walking on a carpeted floor with a royal with you. Its like you're forgetting who you really are.
They walked out of the mansion and they saw a group of guards walking. "Here." Y/n pulled the both of them behind the big bush. They waited for the heavy footsteps to go away and once it did, they stood up and they kept on walking.
"Uh where are we going?" She asked again. "My favorite place." He smiled at her. They just kept on walking until 5 minutes later, they reached the most beautiful tower inside the kingdom. No wonder why it's his favorite place.
They both ran upstairs until they reached the top. "Its beautiful here." Y/n said while looking around the whole kingdom, reflecting the bright light from the moon. The river, the trees, the mansion. All of them are perfect.
Kairi just watched her admire the view. "Im glad you like this place." He smiled. She looked at him. "Thanks for bringing me here Kairi."
"Im hoping and dreaming to take you to this place one day." He said and she furrowed her eyeborws. "I like you." He said after taking in a deep breath.
Y/n's widened. Did she heard it right? "What? You like me?" She said while pointing at herself a little. "Dont worry. Just say that you dont like me. I'm not gonna eject you out of the mansion." He said disappointingly while looking down on his feet.
"But..." she started and he looked back at her with spark of hope in his eyes. "I like you too."
