Ramona quickly ran to the laundry room to give Y/n the letter. "Hey, y/n. Prince Kairi wants to give you this letter."
Y/n looked around weakly since she can't eat anything, that's her punishment.
"Throw it away." She mumbled, turning back around to continue what she's doing.
Ramona frowned and looked at the letter. "But what if-"
"No buts, just throw it away." Y/n said.
Ramona walked away. She didn't throw the letter away instead, she kept it with her without reading whats inside it.
...
Kairi stood on the tower he brought y/n before. He's waiting for her to come but little did he knew that she didn't read the letter.
He waited until the sun rises but she didn't came.
He walked back to the mansion, disappointed and sad.
It was 5 am when he saw Y/n walking slowly out if the castle to the garden to clean there.
He noticed the tired look on her face and before he can even blink, she fainted.
Kairi's eyes widened and ran immediatley to her. "Oh god, are you ok?" He asked frantically but she obviously didn't answer. He carried her in bridal style and brought her to the hospital wing.
"Your highness!" They gasped in shock as they saw him walk in carrying Y/n.
He laid her down on a bed and thats when he saw how pale she is. "Please check up on her. She fainted outside." He panted.
"We'll do anything your highness." They said but theyre a little bit hesitant to help a servant.
"I know she's a servant but please help her." Kairi pleaded and they finally did their work.
...
"She's weak from not eating the whole day. She's also a little bit dehydrated." One of the nurses said as Kairi nodded his head.
"Thank you." The nurse walked away and he walked beside her bed.
He rubbed her hand slowly, feeling the coldness of it. He can't believe how cruel his family can be.
Y/n started to move around and woke up a minute later. "How do you feel?" He asked worriedly.
Her eyes shot open in shock after he heard his voice. She sat up immediately and looked around and to Kairi. He looked at her, confused.
"You need to rest. Lay back down. Here you need to eat." He handed her a bowl of cookie but she just stared at it.
"Why am i here?" She asked.
"I saw you faint outside early this morning so i brought you here." Kairi said.
"I need to go now." She started to stand up but he stopped her.
"I said you need to rest." He said sternly.
"I can't your highness, i need to do my work." She said calmly.
"So im 'your highness' now to you?" He narrowed his eyes but is filled with hurt.
"Yes your highness." She didn't dare to look in his eyes.
"Then the prince is telling you to rest and eat for the rest of the day." He said with his chin up.
She looked at him and bowed then walked away. She wanted to look back but she didn't.
Kairi watch her as she disappeared out of his sight. He sighed and walk away to the king and queen's room.
He didn't even knocked and he just opened the door then entered. "Dont you have manners?" Queen Hiromi said but he didn't answer her.
"What did you do to y/n?" He asked right away. His parents looked at each other and acted clueless.
"What do you mean darling?" The queen asked.
"I know the punishment you gave her." Kairi said angrily.
"Oh. Dont worry. We know she can handle that punishment. Not eating for a day." The king said as if it's nothing.
"She didn't. She fainted infront of my eyes. I feel so guilty knowing my parents did that to her."
"Why do you even care about that peasant?" Hiromi insulted.
"I love her and shes just not a peasant, She's the girl i want."
"What kind of sorcery did she used on you?" Eduardo asked this time.
"She-" Kairi started but was cutted of by his mother.
"Talk back again one more time and we will kick that servant out of the kingdom."
Kairi immediately stopped on his feet. He wanted to say or do something but he already knew what can they do.
