You Really Got A Hold On Me

(Erm so there is alot going on in this chapter and I haven't read over it so if it's rubbish well there you go, anyway enjoy)

Cher had just finished getting ready, she wore her familiar pair of mom jeans and a low scoop necked top which hung off her shoulder. Her and Rob had a date, her plan, she decided on a drive in movie as they were playing one of her favourite movies The Rocky Horror Picture Show. They planned for Cher to take them and she was just about to leave to pick him up.

"I'll be back by 9 ma, Andy will fix dinner, you don't have to do anything just make sure Elijah doesn't turn this place into a rock concert."

"I got honey, I've handled you, I can handle him."

"I'm sure you can."

"And your sister is coming over later."

"Elijah will love that." Cher said sarcasticly

"He'll get over it." her mother waved her hand to dismiss her.

"Okay well I'm leaving I'll be back soon." she said kissing her mom on her cheek

"Bye, love you."

"Love you too."

Cher pulled up at the back of Robs store and at the entrance of his apartment, she figured she'd enter through the store she didn't want to intrude if he was still getting ready. As she made her way to the entrance she over heard two familiar voices, one of course was Rob the other she couldn't put her finger on.

She reached for the door whilst trying to look through the window to see who was there, not wanting to interrupt.

He wasn't there and nor was the other person, she could still hear the argument which was occurring.

"Rob, look we were both wrong and I'm sorry on my part but I want to try this again."

"Yeah well I don't." He said matter of factly.

"I love you and I don't want to lose you, I was just upset!"

"I'm sorry, but I can't, I can't do this, I'm not doing this." He said making his way down the stairs.

"Why? Rob please." she said following.

"Because I don't want this relationship, I'm sorry but it's no good for either of us."

"Is there someone else?" Her voice echoed.

Robs mind went straight to Cher but he couldn't admit it not to her, God their relationship didn't even have a title, and she seemed so secretive about their relationship... So cautious.

"No there isn't." He said reaching the bottom of the stairs and his eyes lifted at the bottom and met Cher's unexpectedly. Her complexion went pale and her eyes lightly clouded over.

"I'm - I'm sorry, I'm going to go." Cher said turning her back to Rob.

"No Cher wait, she's leaving, and we can go." He replied grabbing her upper arm lightly to pull her to face him.

Cher licked her lips nervously and avoiding his eye contact.
"No it's fine, you fix what you got to fix, like you said there isn't anything going on here."

"Hey, I didn't mean it like that, I thought you didn't want-"

"It's fine, it's fine." she intruppted, seeing that his ex and made her way down and waited at the counter analysing the situation. "I'm going to leave you to it." she said opening the door.

"I'll see you later?" He said desperately.

"Bye Robert." she said leaving and making her way back to her car.
