Ice

Prologue

Two horses stood face to face looking into each other's eyes. Confusion and anger filled the air. One had Crystal blue eyes the other had green. they both had black coats with no white. The blue eyed horse spoke.

"Silver why can't you protect the child?! I do believe you would do a much better job keeping the alicorn thing a secret." he said angrily.

"Brother she needs you. You are the best one out of the rest of our brothers that haven't had some one to protect. Please Ice I beg you to go." she said calmly.

"But guess what! You put Flare, Daze, Destiny, and Fallen into a place they can't get out of! Because they failed at protecting! Getting the one that they were protecting killed! I don't want to end up like that! Please I don't want this Silver!" He said tears filling his eyes.

"I know Ice, but you have to, its part of your Destiny. Just please take my word and protect the child that I have chosen for you to protect. She could die if you don't help!" She said annoyed.

"Why do you what me to do this so badly! It doesn't make sense at all! I'm not ment for that and that's final!" He snapped.

Silver stood there quietly. Eyes wide with range. She was not in the mood for what Ice had to say. She looked him in the eyes.

"You are so selfish! How could you care when some child will die because you weren't there to protect them! This is your chance Ice you will like the child I put you with! Please Ice just do it. It's all I'm asking of you." she said tears streaming down her face.

They sat in silence for many seconds. Ice was shocked that Silver wanted him to protect someone that badly. But why?

"I will do it?! Ok I'll go now!" He yelled looking into Silver's green eyes.

"Very well Ice see you soon."
As Ice disappeared to go and protect a human in need of his assistance........
