The Party Pt.1 (Y/N POV)

Today.. was the day.

I spent a couple hours putting on the best makeup I could. I didn't own many nice outfits.. I usually wear big hoodies and tights. I did manage to find a cute white top, black jeans and a pair of flats that are a size too small.

I put everything on and look through my jewelry box. I believe my mother gave me a heart pin a couple years back. It took me a moment to find the ruby heart along with some matching earrings.

I stood in front of my full length mirror, fixing up whatever was wrong, when Vanessa decided to call. I pick up and answer with a quiet, "Hello?"

"Y/N? I need some help decorating the house. Could you maybe help out? Only if you're free."

"Oh, yeah. I'll head over now. I just got done getting ready. Let me grab the chips and I'll be there in a minute."

"Great! Thanks!"

Vanessa hung up and I threw my phone into a small white bag. Then I rushed to grab the chips and got onto my motorcycle.

I arrived at the house and immediately went inside to help Vanessa.

====Time Skip====

"Wow.. It looks great!" Vanessa gave me a tight hug and hurried over to the buffet table, setting out a couple last snacks.

"Yeah.. You're welcome." I smile and go to sit on the couch. My phone buzzes. I had received a text.

Hey, Y/N. When do you want me to pick you up?

Im already at the house. Had to help Vanessa out with some stuff.

Oh.. Cya there then.

Was he disappointed? I sure hope not.. I have a feeling this party isn't going to go all that well.

====Time Skip====

The doorbell finally rang. I watched as Vanessa greeted the guests. Looks like Senpai and Skyler were the first to arrive.. Great.

Senpai was the schools 'pretty boy'. All the girls were swooning over him the moment he first step foot into the school. But for some reason.. He chose Skyler. Now don't get me wrong, Skylers a really cool girl. I just don't really understand why.. there's plenty of guys who are better than him.

(Just to clear sumn up.. SKYLER IS MY BEST FRIEND WHO IS OBSESSED WITH SENPAI AND INSISTED ON BEING A PART OF THIS FANFIC! SHE IS NOT SKY!! Okay that's it! I love y'all~ <3)

The two approached me.. Senpai looked annoyed.. and Skyler probably didn't care.

"Well, hello.. Y/N." Senpai gritted through his teeth. I don't understand why he acts like he hates me so much. Maybe it's because I'm the only girl who didn't have thousands of creepy photos of him in my gallery.

"Heyo, sparkles!" I smiled. I really wanted this night to go well.. So I had to refrain from started any unnecessary fights.

"Who do you think you're calling 'sparkles'? He's mine!" Skyler clung onto Senpais arm tightly.

"Chill.. I have my own date." I rolled my eyes and took out my phone.

"I don't see them. Are they gonna ditch you like all your other dates?" Senpai smirked.

"No..? I mean.. hopefully not-" I sigh. What if he does ditch me? No.. Pico wouldn't.

And he didn't. Because Pico waltzed through the front door not long after Senpai decided to leave me alone.

"Hey, V!? I brought beers!" Pico yelled.

"I thought I told you not to!" She shouted back.

"Pico!" I ran up to him and gave him a hug.

"Yo, Y/N! What's the hug for?" It seemed like he wanted to hug me back, but the boxes of beers kept him from doing so.

"Oh.. nothing~" I giggle, helping him carry stuff to the kitchen. I could tell he was blushing.

Vanessa looked at the beers and heavily sighed. "Put them on the counter.." She pointed over to an island that doubled as a bar.

We opened the boxes and placed the cans of Lone Star along the counter.

"Vanessa? Do your parents have a wine cabinet?" Picos eyes looked around for anything that could hold the alcohol.

"Maybe. I wouldn't be showing you where it was, anyways." Vanessa crossed her arms and walked out of the kitchen to let more people in.

"Pfft- No wine for yoUuUUu~" I laugh, shaking my head disapproval.

"One bottle would've been enough for me and you.. But Vs so stubborn.. and boring. She hosted a party and thought she could keep alcohol out of it."

"Oh c'mon.. This can still be fun!" I tried to cheer him up, but being this sad over some wine was kinda stupid.

"Well.. Wanna go hang out in the backyard?" He asked. I agreed and we made our way outside.
