A Normal Hero

The two days break after the sports festival ended in a flash. I rested up a bit for these two days as no new quest has arrived from the system. Today on my way to school, many people greeted me and appreciated my efforts at the sports festival. It's like one of the traits of U.A.. 

I am sitting in my seat in the classroom as homeroom is about to begin.  Moments later Aizawa sensei arrived. Looks like all of his injuries are healed. Well it's good as it will not feel like we are being taught by a mummy.

Sensei- Good morning.

Everyone- Good morning. 

Asui- Good to see your bandages off, Aizawa sensei.

Sensei- The old lady's treatment was excessive. But never mind that. Today we have a hero informatic class. And a special one at that. 

Is it a quiz? Is it the stuff about the rules and laws of heroes? Looks like finally something normal is going to happen.

Sensei- You'll come up with your hero aliases. 

It is not normal at all.

Everyone in unison while jumping at their seat- How awesome. 

But soon their excitement vanished from a single glare from Sensei and everyone seated quietly at their seats. Scary.

Sensei- But first.....concerning the pro draft picks I mentioned the other day…. It's based on who the pros will be ready to join the hero workforce after another two or three years of experience. So you could say that it's a way for them to show interest in your future. But there is ample time for their interest in you to wane after you graduate. And any and all offers can be arbitrarily revoked. It happens quite often. 

It's not surprising to hear that. The current world and the previous world both are rotten miserably. These adults are especially greedy. Well this world is quite more rotten. 

Random student- So if we are picked now, that just means there will be higher hurdles in the future. 

Sensei- Yes. Now here are the complete draft pick numbers.

After sensei said that, the digital board behind sensei showed us the data of draft pick numbers.

Sensei- There’s typically more of a spread. But our top two stole the spotlight.

Todoroki and Bakugo got the most draft picks. But the numbers were greater on Todoroki’s side. Probably  because of his father’s influence or the pro’s got scared of Bakugo. I can also see my name at the bottom. But the number of draft picks is only one.

Random student- Gah! They are in a whole other league! 

Kirishima- Didn't they get first and second backwards?

Sero- Guess they were just scared of the guy who was literally chained to the winner stands. 

Bakugo- What the heck are the pros doing getting intimidated?!

Sensei- With that settled… whether you were picked or not… you will all have a chance to work alongside the pros.  It's true that you all have experienced more than most but… seeing the pros in action and taking part yourself will still be worthwhile training. 

Random student- That’s where our hero names come in!

Uraraka- This is really getting fun!

Sensei- They're only tentative but you still want to pick something appropriate…

Midnight- Or else you will know true hell!! The name you pick now may be what the world ends up calling you. That's happened to plenty of pros out there!!
